Obviously, most of us keep the historicals' names - but what about middle names or the AGT's?
Lissie/Kira/Josi - for the first three dolls I gave them middle names that started with the same letter as their first name, like mine. They also all have nicknames, because I never had one. They are Felicity Faith, Kirsten Katherine (though, she hates the name Kirsten vehemently and insists on signing all legal papers with Kira), and Josefina Jolene.
Marie Elizabeth Westoff - Marie, since it was French, and Elizabeth since I thought it went nicely, and Westoff... who knows? I was 10. Her name in the book I am writing is Marie Elizabeth Lacaux, and she liked it so much she added it as her second middle name. That name is taken from the last name of a girl in a painting by Renoir, Mlle. Romaine Lacaux.
Kit-Kat - Kit's name is the same as in the books, but when I won Kat my dad suggested I name her Kat so they could be Kit-Kat and it stuck. Both of their first names are Margaret, but Kit's middle name is Mildred and she signs her name Margaret Kittredge, and Kat's middle name is Katherine and she signs her name M. Katherine Kittredge.
Linsi - Lindsay Anne Lalaine Bergman actually had two different versions of her name, Lindsay Anne (originally) and Lindsay Lalaine (the second version, continuining the first/middle initials thing and named after the girl in Lizzie McGuire). I didn't want to get rid of either, so I made Anne her Confirmation name (Linsi isn't Jewish like in the book; only Marie and Marisol are Jewish).
Cristel Marie Harris - Cristel is named after the singer Krystal Marie Harris, who sings "Supergirl" on the Princess Diaries soundtrack. Ironically, after Cris got out of her goth phase she was nothing like Krystal. I tried to come up with the most original spelling of Cristel that I could, but my friend's cousin (who I see a lot) spells her name the same way and both their birthdays are in my phone, so it confuses me.
Kailey Anema - Kailey's the only one without a middle name. Her last name, Anema, is for Anemone since she loves the sea.
Samantha Jane Parkington - Samantha's life is so frilly, so her middle name, Jane, was supposed to be the simple part of her personality/her kindness. She also goes by Sam alot and is into playing guitar/folksy music, etc; she's named after Sam in the book Love and other Four-Letter Words by Carolyn Mackler in that respect. Piper calls her Sammie, which annoys her.
Piper Elizabeth Alexandria Kattredge - being an heiress, I wanted Piper to have a very elaborate name. I got Piper from a book I was reading where the mean girl was named Piper. Kattredge is a variation on Kit's last name, since Kit is Piper's cousin (same with Kat).
Sierra Jadyn Rabenson - My mom came up with her name; her middle name is Hebrew for love, I think. I came up with her last name because I wanted an R last name. My grandmother suggested something like it that I liked but I couldn't remember exactly what it was so that was the closest spelling I could muster.
Harper Lee Simmons - Harper is named after Harper Lee, the author of her favorite (and one of my favorite) book, To Kill a Mockingbird. Simmons because I wanted an S last name. Harper's coming ASAP!!
Elizabeth Bennett Cole - COMING THIS CHRISTMAS!!! Elizabeth will be named after my absolute favorite book character, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice.

All my historicals go by their book names, but I love naming my AGT dolls. I got some of their names from my absolute favorite T.V. show, Alias (Sydney and Nadia's names came from here), some from books (Lena came from "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," and Astrid came from "White Oleander"). I also have a really great baby name book that I get names from. Tora and Mila were names I'd never really heard until I saw them in the book, but they seemed to fit my girls perfectly. Some of the middle and last names I've given them are family names - for instance, my AG 21, Tora, looks a lot like my grandmother when she was young. So Tora's middle name is Charlize, a feminine form of Charles, which was my grandma's father's name. And her last name is Whitney, which is my grandma's maiden name. And Astrid (a renamed Kailey) has hair like my great-great grandmother who came from Finland, so Astrid's middle name is Ophelia, the same as my great-great grandma.

My only real today girl (that is not LE) is named Elspeth...I dreamed I got AGT 21 and named her Elspeth so...I got AGT 21 and named her Elspeth. I wish every doll I dreamed of could be mine. My other girl, AGT 8 has been turned into Anne of Green Gables.

Aduke "Addy" Walker's name hasn't been added to at all.
Naomi Janette Kirkland is my only today doll. Naomi is a name I've liked for years, Kirkland is a town I live by, and since I'd forgotten what I wrote down for her middle name, I asked a friend for a name and she said "Janette."

My Kit's new real name it Katherine and her middle name is Margaret, but we all call her Kit.
-
Felicity Ann Merriman: I chose Ann because it seemed to go with Felicity more than any other name. Besides, it's appropriate for her era.
Maria Elena Josefina Montoya: Same as the books, but with Elena added. I wanted Josefina to be named after Elena Montero, the main character in The Mask of Zorro (and Zorro 2), because it's one of my favorite movies. (And Catherine is one of my favorite actresses!)
Marisol Clara Esperanza Montoya: Marisol has been a great challenge to name. Technically, she's Luna-Montoya, but her name is long enough, so she drops Luna. I also feel bad that she's not Maria, but I wanted to keep her original name of Marisol in her new name somehow. She's Clara like Josefina's sister in the books...and this is the name she goes by. And Esperanza because Elena's mother in Zorro is named Esperanza (also from the main character in a book called Esperanza Rising.).
Hana Kirsten Larson: Kirsten sounded more like a middle name, so I googled Swedish girls names and came up with Hana. She still goes by Kirsten, though, as do all of the historicals.
Samantha Victoria Adelaide Parkington: Samantha's middle name was originally Ad?le, named after the little girl in Jane Eyre, but I decided I'd change it to Adelaide. Then I added Victoria because I though the combination sounded pretty. And what a great name for a Victorian girl anyhow!
Norah "Nellie" Deverell O'Malley: I decided Nellie was a nickname, so I chose Norah as Nellie's first name and it stuck. And Deverell, being an Irish family name, fit perfectly as her middle name.
Margaret Mildred Kittredge: Absolutely no name change for Kit, although sometimes she would like to be called Maggie.
Molly Kristina McIntire: Molly probably had a different middle name when I was younger, but I have no idea what it was. I picked Kristina because it rolled nicely with Molly.
Lindsey Anneliese Bergman: Lindsey used to be Lindsey Anne, after Anne Frank, but when I got so many girls with the name Ann, I decided to change her middle name to Anneliese. Anne Frank's name WAS Anneliese, so Lindsey's still named after Anne.
Juliana Margot Nemeth: Juliana's my renamed Mattel Samantha. I got her before I realized I wanted a WB Samantha. But anyway, she got her name from a real Jewish woman of the same name (Juliana Nemeth) who unfortunately didn't survive the Holocaust. I picked her passport at the National Holocaust Museum. Margot is her middle name because Margot is Anne Frank's older sister's name. I may change Juliana's name eventually, though, as she'd make a good Hermione.
Maura Kathryn: My AGoT 21 is my closest AGT mini me, so she had to have a similar name to mine. Maura is one letter off from Laura, and Kathryn is pretty close to Kathleen. And Maura also has my last name, which I won't post.
Ruthie Ann Louise: My AGoT 7 is my childhood friend's mini me, so she has a similar name to her. Ann instead of Anna, and the middle name is the same. I added Ruthie so she could play Kit's friend and so she could adopted a "traveling name," but to her close friends she is Ann. Ann also shares my friend's last name.
Sarah Elizabeth: Sarah is my Our New Baby. I got her when I was three, so my mom and I picked the name out together. She also shares my last name.
Meghan Nicole: My secondhand Bitty who got her name from two of my classmates. She used to be Megan, but when I got my MAC Megan, I changed Bitty's name to Meghan. No last name, unless she shares mine.
Charlotte Elizabeth Cole: She's my Gotz doll that stands in as Elizabeth. Her original Gotz name was Elizabeth, and her name from her previous owner was Charlotte (Charlie) so I just combined the two names.
Agnes Marie Edwards: Another Gotz doll who is one of Samantha's Aunt Cornelia's sisters. Marie is her middle name because the two names sounded okay together. Agnes also stands in for Emily until I get AG's Emily.
Tess Isabel Nemeth: My other Gotz who has gone through a lot of name changes. Tess is her original Gotz name, and Isabel is the name she finally told me was her "true" name, so viola! Tess Isabel. She goes by Isabel, but is not offended if you call her Tess. She's twins with Juliana, so she shares the same last name.

Ooh, fun question. Okay, I have alot of dolls, so hang in there with me.
Felicity doesn't have a middle name, but I just love the name Felicity I had to keep it.
I hope to be getting her twin brother Alexis soon. I've named him that, as their mother is french and their father, scotch. So Alexis is named after an uncle or something.
Charity is my Elizabeth doll, and Lissie's cousin. Her father is french and mother english, so she was named after a grandmother.
Noel is Charity's brother. He was named a french name. It's pronounced like Noelle. I love that name.
Poppy is a GT9. Love that name.
Penelope is a rewigged #21 with a red AGOT wig. I love the name and wanted something to go with Poppy.
Olivia is my rewigged GT11. I think the name is so pretty, and she had to have something sophisticated.
Leandros is a rewigged GT2. I just love that name and had to name one of my dolls that. He's greek
Caccia Neroli is my Marisol with cut hair. He's my only one with a middle name right now. Caccia is just pretty and Neroli I love. Its the name of orange blossom essential oil and a common italian boy's name.
Paris is my other Marisol doll and he is also greek. Everyone knows the Illiad character with that name. I thought it was a pretty name, so I was happy to have a doll to give it to.
Antef is my Josefina that I have turned into my egyptian boy. I read the name in a mystery set in ancient egypt and thought it was perfect for him.
Jamal is my newest addition - an Addy doll. I love the name.
Molly is the name of my Megan MAC. I love the name Molly and I named her that as I did't foresee getting an AG Molly then.
Alison is another MAC and I kept her name that as it jsut fits her.
Virginia Elizabeth Bennet is a MAC Chloe. I love the name the name Virginia and thought it would be so cute on her. Elizabeth Bennet is not important to me, but it is her mother's favorite story in the biography I gave her.
Charleston Fitzwilliam Darcy is Virginia's twin brother. What an embarrassing name, poor boy.
Brandy is another MA Chloe. I didn't actually name her. She came with that name, and I kept using it.
Mikaili is a MAC Keisha. I like the name and wanted him to have an African name.
Ambrosio is a MAC Rosa, and has one of my most favorite names.
Teodoro is a MAC Rose. He is Ambrosio's half brother and so I wanted im to have a name that kind of went with it. I love the name.
Whew! That's all! (For now... )

I have a l..o..n..g list.
Nemesio Carlos (Marisol boy) My first, I love the name Nemsio, derived from the greek goddess of revenge Nemesis. I thought it was a great name. Carlos is his father's name. he is Peurto Rican
Jun (GT4 boy)I was looking at a list of boys Chinese names, and Jun meant hadnsome I think. I liked it was nice and simple.
Shen (GT4 boy)Jun's twin. I wanted somewhat matching names, and I immediatly loved it.
Mei Ling (GT4 girl)I've heard this name before and thought it was so pretty.
Shei Ling (GT4 girl)I wanted them to have matching names like their older brothers Jun & Shen, and it is such a pretty name!
Raven Joshua O'Malley (Josefina boy) He is full blooded Egyptian but his father was adopted by an Irsih family. He is born on Halloween, and I LOVE the name Raven, especcially for someone with black hair!
Carlin Jacob O'Malley (Josefian boy) He is raven's twin. Carlin is the spirit/goddesss/god of Samhain spirits in Ancient Ireland, and since he was born on Halloween, and his adoptive grandparents are Irish I thought it was perfect!
Willard James (Addy boy) I always wanted an Addy to be like Fesh Prince of Bel-Air, in the 80's duds and all....which didn't quite happen, but Will Smith's name is Willard, which I thought it was so funny that such a cool dude was Willard, I had to name my modern Addy boy it.
Jaron O'Malley (GT25 boy) No middle name yet. I love the name, and it fit him perfectly. I thikn he will have a Romanian name, since he is half Irish/half Romanian.
Jaden O Malley (GT25 boy) He was originally going be Julian, but no go! He and his twin are Raven & Carlin's cousins.
Fermina Maria Esperenza (GT2 girl) She is Nemesio's cousin, but her father is Mexican, so I have a hole for another cousin.
Molly MacIntire Haven't thought of her middle name yet.
Samantha Josephine ???? Her last name is not going to be Parkington.
Samantha Jean ?????? Her twin, my WB Samantha.
Ben Yahzee (Kaya boy) I had him a weeek or so before I named him. ABout the same time Windtalkers came up on our Blockbuster Que, and so I named him after the star charactor...well, the Codetalker star, not Nicholas Cage.
Jasper James Montgomery (RW Kirsten) He was a total suprise, I wasn't expecting to end up with another doll, much less a BL/BL one, but I had decided against the name Jasper for Jaden, but wished I had a doll for it, lo and behold, there he was!
Jessamine James (GT15 boy) I have always loved the name Jessamine and though that it would be a great name for a boy. Jessamine is the name for White Jasmine. Though he does go by Jesse. I actuallt haven't determined his family tree yet, he's a mix of AA, Hispanic, Native American, and other sources.
Boy that was long!
HIs twin brother should be here any day now!!!

Well, I only have two AGOTs, other then Marisol, and I named them after the main characters in two of my favorite books. Oddly enough in both books the characters start out as children and it goes through the events of their lives. They both wear period clothing only and I think of them as the little girls who grew to be great women.
Morgaine (AGT 25) is named after the character Morgaine in "The Mists of Avalon". She is the half brother of King Arthur, known in most mythology as Morgan Le Faye, A Priestess of the holy isle of Avalon.
Chiyo (AGT 4) is named after the character Sayuri in "Memoirs of a Geisha". Before she grows up to be the legendary geisha Sayuri, she is Chiyo Sakamoto, a young girl living in a Japanese fishing village.

I originally wasn't planning on giving Molly a middle name, but one day I thought of the name Marie and the name seemed to stick. It also sounds like it might be appropriate to her era as well; it's a little old-fashioned but it's still pretty. So her name is now Molly Marie McIntire...all the M's in her name just roll off the tongue.
