I finally got tired of putting up with Mr. Dial-Up's bullshit day after day. Year after year...
So I figured until we can afford a better connection or get a computer that was made in this decade... I'll lessen the load a little bit.
It's a bit faster now... I guess.
Seriously, get high speed as soon as you can afford it. I recently upgraded from dial-up to DSL and it's well worth the cost.
I'll never go back to dial up.
Those dial up accelerators seem like a lot of smoke and mirrors.
Is dial up that thing that makes that horrible noise?
I have cable.....
I have cable also and never knew how good it was when I had dial up. now no turning back

Actually, there are freeware programs that you can use to tweak your computer for faster access to web pages. But as Chet said, it won't pump the actual connection speed.....
