What's your Hostboard story? How did you find Hostboard? How did you find this message board? I found Hostboard when I went to a different AG message board back in May. I found this message board in July when I decided to look for more AG message boards on the "Hobbies" page. I posted probably once or twice in May, totally forgot about Hostboard, then came back in July and found this message board, and I'm so glad I did!
I was searching for the retail price of a few AG items I had just bought. In fact I used ask.com and this poped up! I'm glad I found this though, it's nice to see people obsessed woith the same stuff I am fo a change!
Oh, cool! I'm glad someone *finally* responded to my post after, oh, let's see...almost 5 months! LOL!
I did a google search and found HB. I lurked for a couple of days but it didn't take long for me to join.
I it when I did a Google search looking for American Girl Collectors.

Wow, I didn't realize this topic was started so long ago!
I found Hostboard through Joy (dsnjones). I purchased a couple of AG items from her through ebay and she told me about the Society of American Girls page in an email. This is the message board linked from that site, so here I am! [img]smile.gif[/img]
Great topic! Believe it or not I found hostboard through an AG CS rep. I made a comment that I wish there was some kind of club for adult collectors and she told me that there was and to do a google search and type in american girl collectors. I did and this site came up! I actually lurked for a few months before I had the nerve to post.
I was on a totally different board & AG topics popped up occassionally, as well as codes. I wanted to find a "closer" source for the codes & doll info....not the weeks old half right/half wrong stuff I was getting. I decided to Google "American Girl Message Boards", and here I am [img]smile.gif[/img]
