Jor reviews series 28

OK, i only ended up buying one, and that was because i knew it would be cool if i customized some articulation into it, and even though i realize that the odds of me getting time to do that are slim, i figured what the hell and bought a Mandy 2...

Mandy 2
- crap articulation. dammit!

Dead Spawn
- kinda boring, colors were weird

Lotus 2
- this is not lotus 2. this thing has nothing to do with Lotus 1, which was a work of art. This thing sucks. And the proportions are just really fucked up looking...

Techno Spawn 2
- Thought i might like this one until i saw it in person... blah.

Commando Spawn 2
- Blah

Grave Digger
- kinda boring...

Urizen
- it's weird. although i wish todd would make a regular size version of that spawn with the cape in scale. that would rock.

I saw them the other day and thought Mandy and Lotus looked pretty good, except for the Lotuses I saw seeming to have a bit of her face paint on the clamshells.

Is Mandarin stuck in that pose below the waist?

Could you expand on Mandy's "crap" articulation? This was the only one I was considering.

...come, now, Jor...surely...surely they are actually far, far worse than you are describing? I mean, when McFarlane stoops so low as to actually trot out sad remakes from their more successful past, something surely stinks...and I don't mean the NTS...

i honestly don't even mind that... it would be ok with me if it just seemed a bit more inspired...

kaga, the problem is mostly the legs, they are in that pose and that's it. although the ankles are articulated... for whatever good it does...

I'd really like to see Todd finish up the Comic Classics lineups... without the Ashly Woods stuff. I want a Sam and Twitch!
