Question about sol i found

Hey let me know what you guys think about this sol heres the add and the link for the pics.

You are looking at Honda Civic DEL SOL 1994 SI. It has 86,000 origional miles and has alot of extras. Key pad start, you have to put in 4 digit code in order to start the car, there is no other way not even if you cut the wires off. Racing Seats, black and gray to mach the interior colors. Brand new floor mats, black. Short shifter + new shift nob. New pedals, blue. New gages, white with blue/green lights. Tinted windows 5%. New paint, one month old. (not one step) primer, base coat & 3 coats of clear. Dark blue vinyl (goes from fender to the door(costom)). Super cold air intercooler intake. Front bumper lip. JVC cd player with two 10" 700 watts subwoofers(total of 1400watts) and new speakers . 17" ADR design GT racing 6 spoke rims. Lowered with adjusteable coilovers. Two way security system with two remote controls, motion detector, extra raning lights, door unluck, trunk realese. Painted on eye brows. Tinted(see though paint) turn signals on tail lights. Clear corner lights. Clear bumper reflectors. Power mirrors. Painted brake calipers(yellow). Front and Rear upper strut bars. Super clean. Click here for more pictures

Its $5800, dont you guys think this is a steel? I think im gonne pick it up, just wanted some opinions.

Most of those 'mods' can be done fairly cheaply so I don't think it is quite the 'steal' for an SI. Actually, I think it is kinda high for an SI mostly because I don't care for those 'mods'.

not a good deal i bought my 93 Si about 4 years ago. with about the same mods and i payed $5000 then. agreat deal would be $4000 or less check kbb.com for the kelly blue book value that will tell you alot about value.

Hrm, from the pictures it looks like there is a FMIC underneath the bumper. I just quickly glanced at a few pics, didnt see the engine. If this sol is turbo-charged, i would definetly get that checked out before you buy it. If they are using crappy fuel management or the welds are done sloppy, or if its one of those SSauto whatever kit off ebay,than I would have to say its not worth putting even more money into it to fix it. Turbo aside, it looks pretty good to me. 5800 is a lil' bit steep, but the sol geo posted earlier from a dealership was like 6100 or something with more miles on it.

*Edit* Nevermind about the turbo part, I looked at the rest of the pics and re-read your post. Just a lil confused about the intercooler. sigh*

but this is an SI we are talking about. their like a dime a dozen. You cant find a VTEC any where because they sell to fast. VTEC are also worth alot more money.

Im sorry to burst your happy bubble but that car is no way near 8500. I believe that car is roughly 5k maybe 6K. What I see is maybe around 1200 dollars in parts.
If You were to look at all those parts you would be able to see that they are nothing that cant be found on EBAY for real cheap. maybe he is trying to get his money out of his paint job.

Yeah it really seems like it, those rims are about the best thing on it besides that paint job. Those subs in the back are 20 bucks a peice hhaha, that amp about 60 and those mids are about 50. I checked online with all the brand names and stuff, and i think the dude wants too much. I might just end up keep on searching for a VTEC sol the one with the 160 hp engine, but then again i found a sweet legal 1990 nissan skyline for 11,500 canadian money with 68k miles.

geez...everything about that car i just despize. That right there is probably an example of as clean as a rice-mobile will ever get. I dont mean to knock on it but seeing the half azzed modds done to the car, doesn't it make you question wtf the owner could have done that you CANT obviously see??? By a BONE STOCK car and then modd it. Its always cheaper and funner in the long run. Its not like the modds on that sol were things you couldn't get off of ebay for $50 or less(other than the rims but i dont even know what they are).

NICE SOL, YOU GUYS OUT THERE JUST DON'T KNOW THAT YOU OWN ONE OF THE RAREST HONDA-THE DEL SOL AND IT WORTH MUCH MORE THEN YOU THINK. I PERSONALLY OWN A '95 RARE ISLE GREEN VTEC del Sol and I think the price for this sol is pretty reasonable! I mean the guy would probably sell for 5600 or even 5500. Mods arent' that great but del sol "fans" you don't buy a del sol because of the nice speakers-DO YOU? CAR LOOKS AND CLEAN AND WILL DEFINATLY GET THE LOOKS W/NEW PAINT JOB
