I've just been round my folks house thumbing though my old Metal Forces and Kerrangs (late 80's early 90's) and wondered what ever happened to Liquor Sweet, Swingin? Thing, Charlie Mouse, Cherry St., Rag Dolls, City Kidds, Smashed Alley. Wasn't pre-grunge a good time!!!

A couple of the guys in "SWINGIN THING" have a band called "IT'S THE PIGS".
On the more Glam side of this subject, I read that we are supposed to have 2 seperate CD's of old SWINGIN THING material released soon!!!!!!!!
yeah, The SWINGIN' THING cds are on Suncity Records...i think one is out already.

LIQUOR SWEET....don't know what happened to them...but, i really loved this band....i have the demos and a live show from 1989....

I had a couple of Charlie Mouse tracks & thought they were really good - although I haven't heard them for nearly 15yrs! They were from Oxford & I had heard they were more NWOBHM originally but jumped on the Glam bandwagon (don't know if that's true, if it is it's a bit off-putting but I still thought it was a good tape).
Personally I thought the 1980s was a horrible decade, brightened up by some good music.
well i guess i will have to dig out the ole Swinging Thing cd's again after reading all that stuff,,,,,,,,....now where the hell did i put it,,,?????
