i used that link to help me do mine. General breakdown is that you have to swap the seat pan and seat rails from the sol seats over to the S2K seats. Or you could just find some junker civic/intera seats and swap the pans out of those and then use the del sol seat rails on the pan. The BIGGEST PITA is pullin the leather apart from this one area and then pulling the rest of the leather up high enough to access the nuts/bolts. I would REALLY reccomend doing this with 2 people. Also, have some leather conditioner handy, use it before, and then after the process. Its really rough on the material.
Final thoughts of it: The seats actually sit a bit higher with the del sol pans than the S2K pans. In a sense, you almost give a little performance feel in trade for comfort. Its not a bad trade nore is it a bad ride. I have linear springs on my car, so they are pretty damn stiff, and the del sol pan+S2K seat combo helped eliminate some of the harshness when you're driving. It was time consuming but after you do the first one the second one goes so much quicker. Al in all it was worth doing. As playboi stated the seats do sit up a bit higher and it takes a short while to get used to it but after a few days you won't even remember the difference.....except comfort wise.
I love getting into and outta the car now....you just slide and glide unlike the fabric seats where ya gotta kinda shimmy over until your in the right spot.

I'm actually very paranoid about getting in and out of the seats. I'm a little anal with my passengers about getting in and out as well cause its 1: leather 2: expensive 3: rare 4: leather 5: i'll never do the process again lolQuote:

I still have to take the seats back out and finish them properly. I was in such a hurry to get them installed in time for the meet that I used zip ties to replace all the hog rings I pulled out.
I went to the hardware store a couple weeks ago and bought some hog ring pliers and a box of hog rings. Now I just gotta force myself to pull the seats back out and do it right.
Just wanna time it to where I can do other stuff while I have the seats out....kill two birds with one stone logic.
oh wow, i've never used a hog ring tool nor do i know how it looks like. i just used 2 plyers which wasn't any fun, and reused the hog rings that came with the seats. Careful with those zipties, they hard sharp edges and might possibly rip through the leather!!!
So how much does a set of S2000 seats set you back?
I see them go for around $800 on ebay and craigslist. I got mine for less at a wrecking yard. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The car had just been brought into the yard a short while before I got there so no one had gotten to it yet.
I was gonna try and find newer RSX seats if the S2000 ones never came about. They look very similar and all the ones I have seen go for less money.
I'm interested in trying a set out and there is a current listing on craigslist from someone in north Tacoma for $550 for the set. From the photos, it's difficult to see the condition of the seats as they are black but it looks to me like some wear/stretch marks are present. I'd take a look but I am trying to save gas and pedalled in today. [img]frown.gif[/img]
