Woke up this morning (for which I'm grateful), reached over to turn the alarm off. I rolled over on my side and squinted at the fuzzy red numbers on the clock, I finally managed to get my eyes focused enough to see it was about a quarter to nine.
I grabbed the half bottle of Ice Mountain spring water, unscrewed the cap (which I promptly dropped to the floor) I took a long pull of luke warm water and sat up on the edge of the bed.
I hate the first part of the day, Don't get me wrong I thank God for every day he gives me, But In the morning I am filled with pain. My lower back hurts the most, I almost always wake with a head ache, then when I stand up my knees hurt as I make my way to the bath room where I *the words have become mumbled as Rog has shut the door*.
I make my way down the hallway, I usually find Julie at her computer answering her email or playing on Neopets or sitting on the Couch watching Little House on the Prairie. I give her a kiss and tell her for the first time today "I Love You, Sweetie".
I'll grab a glass of Juice (I prefer Orange, But Julie & her daughter Sarah prefer grape), If I fill energetic & its chilly, I'll fix a cup of hot tea. Julie is a morning person and can't start her day without a cup of coffee.
I'll get my morning meds and sit with her for a while.
Sometimes She will wait for me & we will have breakfast together, Usually something simple, Pancakes, or scrambled eggs (we both like to add grilled onions & peppers to them and add a spoon full of Salsa across the top).
If Julie got up real early she has probably already had breakfast (biscuit & gravy...Which I don't like) or toast & jelly (Julie makes this Delicious strawberry freezer jam in the summer). If she has already eaten, I will make me a salami sandwich for breakfast.
We usually spend this part of the day planning our meals (Sarah is a junior in High School and not home for lunch), Any shopping we need to do,or any other errands, you kinda get the idea.
I then make my way back down the hallway to our bedroom, which is now my computer nook too.
After logging in to my computer, I'll check my email, which I don't get very much as most of it is junk & I seldom check it. I then have a list of a lot of message boards that I visit every morning.
The first board I visit is the Cherie Currie message board. This is the first board I joined after getting our first computer several years ago. Cherie was the lead singer for the all girl band The Runaways back in the 70's. I have met Cherie several times, when I lived out in California. She is currently a chainsaw artist, she is awesome.
I then will check out The Mainstream, which is the message board that I hijacked over a year ago.
Next up is the Sonic lounge, Board of Bon Bons, Death Defying, Bittersweet.
After those I go down to the Absolutely Wrong board. I check in with a lot of them. Then I have two message boards that are based in England.
After all the message boards are taken care of, I start with the music blogs. I discovered recently these blogs where people put music up in zipped files for other people (who want to) download them.
That usually takes me up to about noon, when I usually return to the living room and either make lunch or help Julie prepare it.
Ok, I just babbled long enough and its about time to take Sarah to work at Steak & Shake.
See y'all later.

This morning I arose about 8:30, getting out of bed I stepped on the cap from the water bottle that I dropped yesterday morning, and <s>was to lazy to bend over</s> I forgot to pick up.
I stumbled up the hallway to find Julie having her coffee and watching an Andy Griffith rerun on the telly. I got me a glass of cold tea & my morning meds, and sat with her while I tried to get my eyes to focus
Julie asked me if I wanted breakfast, I answered yep, so she told me she did too Go make it. I went to the kitchen and opened the packet of sausage patties and flipped two into a small skillet over medium heat.
As the sausage slowly cooked I started making a pitcher of fresh tea. Julie & I drink about a gallon of tea throughout an average day. I then popped a couple slices of bread into the toaster, Julie likes wheat bread, I'm a white bread person. I removed the sausage patties from the fire and put about 4 medium eggs into the skillet as I scrambled them up I reached into the fridge and got a package of shredded cheddar cheese which I added to the eggs.
I divided up the eggs and sausage and took it to the front room and placed it on the coffee table. Julie buttered the toast as I poured us a couple glasses of milk. Julie uses Hershey chocolate syrup in hers, while I prefer my without. We ate our breakfast, while watching Ellen on TV.
After breakfast I got on the computer for a little over an hour, when Julie came into the room and said we needed to do a little shopping. I got dressed and we went into town, After living here for a little over 2 months, Julie is still in awe of all the traffic.
We went to a local grocery store and today is the day the coupons come out in the paper so Thursdays they have the ladies giving out food samples. I have mastered the art of letting them sell me on their product. The first lady was pushing Hickory Hill Smoked sausage. I tried a piece and commented on its taste, but I just wasn't sure, so she offered me another piece "Yes I Must think about that"
About two aisles over another nice lady was cooking DiGorno pizzas. "Well No Madam, I've never tried the pepperoni" I took her offered slice and like a wine taster, I savored the flavor, then I noticed the other slice was from the supreme. "that isn't bad pizza, but I don't care for pepperoni." Well yes I wouldn't mind trying the slice of supreme" I walked away muttering about how we should get a couple of those for the freezer.
As we passed the produce section they were cutting a fresh pineapple, tangerines and red seedless grapes. I'm sure by now you can see my scam So I left the produce section with fruit juice shining on my chin.
After our shopping spree we headed home and we were both commenting on the local weather conditions. It was near 50 again today, with lots of sunshine. We can not remember when the temperature was ever this mild in January. I'm sure it won't last but until we are stuck in the deep freeze, we plan on enjoying it as much as we can.
I guess I did it again didn't I? I'm sure no one is interested in a couple of boring old farts, I hope you don't waste your valuable time reading this rubbish.

Oopsy, I guess I got impatiant and hit post twice, or it was before I cleaned my glasses and I pushed the wrong button (julie always tells me that I push her buttons...Hmmmm)
Anyway, or as I've heard old folks say Anywho, I thought I would try to clean up my slight mess from the Dreaded Double Post Monster, So I think a few more wipes with the disinfective cloth, no one will know what I have done...TaDaa!
No...Wait a minute...that ain't gonna work because I already admitted to double posting...Unless I could pass the blame *looking around*...It was that darned old Trashcan did it, yep, He wandered in her and did a copy & paste and tried to blame me...Thats the story...yep...I'm sticking to it...That darned old Trashcan!

Julie and I were supposed to pick up her youngest daughter, Friday evening. She was going to spend the 3 day weekend with us.
Friday was coooold, It was really windy with winds blowing about 30 mph, then about noon it started raining with snow mixed in. as the day progressed it got worst. Julie's other daughter who lives with us, has a part time job at the local Steak & Shake restaurant. She got off work at 4:30 and we were going to head down to pick up the kid, but it was so nasty out, Julie decided that it would be better to go on Saturday morning early.
So we sat around the house, I made a light supper of Stuffed hamburgers & some baked potato wedges. after supper we watched Wrestling on TV as Sarah typed on the computer (She types 80+ words per minute...It is irritating as hell). We ended up calling it an early night and went to bed about 10:00.
Julie woke me up in a panic about a quarter to 7 because after all the rain/snow/sleet we had yesterday, the car doors were frozen shut and she wanted to get Ashley Jayne early, because its almost an hour drive down there, one way.
I am not a morning person, never have been, but I pulled on my jeans and pull my tool chest out from under the bed. I ramble around until I found a long handled screw driver and a pair of Channel Lock plyers. I couldn't find my shoes, (they were half way under the couch), My jacket was not on the back of the kitchen chair (where I Always leave it), Someone had decided last night to hang the jackets in the hall closet).
I walk/stumble down the steps as the cold wind blows across my face, causing my half opened eyes to start tearing, then instantly freezing in the corner of my eyes.
The wind blew out of the north yesterday, so I try to open the passenger door first since it was facing south. I inserted the screw driver into the space and pull as I pry. It starts to move a little bit so I insert the handle of the channle locks annd work my way up & down the door while pulling on the handle. It started to open a little bit, but I was afraid I was going to tear the wether stripping from around it.
The door finally opened after about 8 minutes of freezing my...well anyway, Julie slid across the passenger seat and started the car as we raced...well walked briskly to the apartment to warm up. Julie had some errands while she was down there so I went back to bed. (I can't afford to interupped my beauty sleep). I dozed off & on for a while until I heard the front door open.
I heard julie telling Ashley to come & wake me up, so I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. I heard her calling my name & i ignored her, then I felt the bed shake as she pounced on me, putting her cold hands on my face.
I got up, took a shower & got around, they had stopped at McDonalds for biscuits & gavy so I just made me a salami sandwich for breakfast. we talked and played around until about 1:00. We had a few errands and I bundled up and was shocked to find it a pleasent day in the lower 50's.
Ain't that strange.
I got about enough time to do a spell check (cuz I gotta), then we got to take Ashley monster home. I had long drives, but I'm getting a case of cabin feever and wanna get out for a while. The sun is shining and its another plesent day. I hope where ever you are right now, that you are having a good day too.
more later.
I am still rogER
