Since the 5th and 3rd level characters are all together back at the Inn, it might be a good idea to make some trades to better equip ourselves for the next outing.
Clementine has a +2 Mighty Composite Longbow +1 she's not using since she has a better bow. It adds str damage to +2 and has a +1 enchantment. Any other archers in either lowbie group interested in the bow?
I don't have anything to trade, as I'm the noob. I /can/, however, given a 500gp for raw materials (a 500gp value pearl is ideal) make a 1st level Pearl of Power for anyone who wants one, in a single day's time.

Now if you can make other items, perhaps my characters will be talking with you soon.
Well, Anatos is a 4th level Wizard with the Craft Wondrous Item feat. My spell-list is still a little sparse, as a new character, but given...
1) access to the needed spell(s) (ie: scroll(s) or caster(s) able to provide the necessary magicks)
2) my meeting the CL requirements
3) the needed time
4) money to cover the cost of the needed materials
... I can make minor wondrous items, like a 1st level Pear of Power, as I already mentioned. Of course, it'll cost me XP to make the items, so I'd probably hafta get /something/ for myself out of the deal.

He might be inclined to trade for it, just to get a magic weapon, and has the following magic if you are interested: Wand of Levitate (3) 49 chg, scroll: Detect Thoughts (3). web (3) x2 or scroll: Blink (5), Reduce person (1)Quote:

Sure. Moondance can have the +2 mighty +1. Everyone will need at least one magical weapon to even have a chance at facing off against those remaining shadows.
Our other wizards ask much the same thing, at least until they get rich enough to afford the pearls on their own. [img]smile.gif[/img] One thing Clementine will ask of Anatos though is if he can decipher the runes that cover her current bow.
I forgot -- Anatos also knows the Identify spell. Of course, he'll ask for the person making use of that magic to pay for the material costs involved in casting the spell, but he won't be charging any extra beyond that.
Well, if Read Magic or Comprehend Languages will do for the deciphering... yes, he can.
(And I was offering to make Pearls of Power for the /other/ spellcasters -- not asking for a handout for myself.)
Being out of the loop for some time now I just looked over Finley's inventory. He is equiped w/ a masterwork mace but does have his divine casting of course. I will try to log on a few minutes early and maybe get a little update on what has transpired if I get off work in time.
Bleah! Just noticed that Pearls of Power, regardless of for what level of spell they're designed to work, are all CL 17... I guess I can't make those, after all. [img]frown.gif[/img]
