My hubby is so proud of himself, I can't hardly stand it. We were in an antique store in downtown Lockhart, and he found a set of Chambers Salt & Pepper shakers. I had walked right past them, and missed it. The paint has been removed and they are missing the corks, but other than that they look great. I'm not going to be able to live with him for the next few days.
Can you post a photo so that the rest of us will be able to recognize them at flea markets, etc.? Thanks.

I love Blacks!! Everytime we went to any UT games we stopped in and ate there. A family tradition passed down going on 4 now.

Berlyn - Didn't stop for bar-b-que this time. Ate there last Sunday. We live about 10 miles west of Lockhart, so we eat there often.

Are white shakers like these pretty standard era shakers? I bought some several years ago, white,with red letters, this shape, but holes on top of the curve, and the S & P letters facing you ( if you were looking at the second pair in Lori's picture, and the S&P had a different shape...v

Maybe different ranges had different styles but the same shakers.

YES, those are my shakers! Are they Chambers Shakers? Am I that lucky? Did I buy them just because I knew they had to go on my stove, or did I secretely KNOW they belonged there? I couldn't find that 6267048709 number on ebay so couldn't check it out...v I paid $25.oo for them at a high price Antique Store, but had to have them, must have been a birthday present to myself..v
I don't know if they are Chambers. The Ebay listing didn't say what range they were from. Mine are 3 1/2 inches tall, 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. If the ones you have are the same size, then they should fit.
