Because one of our members received an inappropriate PM from a member of another HB group, our Moderating Team wanted everyone to read the following information:
Our Hostboard affiliation means that we are only one board on a very large message board/forum hosting site. Any person who is a member of any of the HB forums can (while logged in on their own forum) send Personal Messages (PM's) to any other person who is a member of any of the HB forums.
If you ever get PM's from someone you don't recognize as a member of our AGF Message Board, please send a copy of that PM (including the name and profile link of the sender) to one of our Board moderators, and then click the link under the PM that says put this person on my Ignore list.
If the moderators get the PM-er's information, we can make sure that appropriate action is taken; and if you put that person on your ignore list, he/she cannot contact you directly again.
Whatever you do, do not reply to a PM from someone whose name you do not recognize or who asks anything personal or uncomfortable!

Thanks for the info. I don't get a ton of PMs so I'm usually surprised when I do. Glad to see that the mods are looking out for our safety.
