Subject: SOCIAL DISTORTION FEBRUARY 2008 AUSTRALIAN DATES CANCELED
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Social Distortion is regrettably
unable to perform at Soundwave Festival 2008 in Australia and must
officially withdraw from the bill. We apologize for any inconvenience to
our Australian fans and hope to make it there as soon as possible.

Thanks to everybody for their condolonces. Not the worst thing to happen to me thing year bt fuck, I was disappointed. They were pretty much the ONLY reason I was going and I'm now desperately scratching to get refunds for the tickets I got!
For some reason right after they cancelled it dawned on me that the day they were meant to play in Melbourne is the day of Dennis's Anniversary. It would have been a tear jerking honour to hear them play "Don't Take Me For Granted" or "When The Angels Sing" on the day Dennis passed to commemerate his life and role in the band.
