Ted's back with DD? Anybody else back besides Bruno, of course. I know that Andy probably wouldn't come back. Don't think they need Kasey anymore. Have no idea who played drums for them. hahaha What happened to Paul Laine? I know that they were still releasing albums throughout the 90's with him on vox. Thought he was 'accepted' by the DD faithful.

I don't think anyone else from here was at the gig (correct me if I'm wrong), but it was a pretty cool show Friday night. Good to see Ted back centre-stage, although he looked like he was carrying a few extra lbs (aren't we all?). The nutty fans from Greece were there again as well. Good to see Bruno wearing the new red-design Peppermint Creeps t-shirt. Nice also to see BillyC's mate Rob Marcello still fulfilling guitar duties. Unfortunately, due to a club night starting at 11, DD's set was restricted to an hour, and I didn't get a chance to say hi afterwards, as the merch stand was too crowded. I know the guys browse the net, so HI!!!

The last time I saw Ted, was Bone Machine, down-
stairs at Rock City, Nottingham. I'll never forget
Ted confessing to having to go back to his pizza
delivery job post-sacking from DD, and then piling
on the pounds, and then losing them when BM came
along. If D2 is just another bandwagon band gigging
with only one or two original members, then fuck
it, I say. Bring back Bone Machine.

Ted Poley's band Melodica were pretty fucking good also, if you like melodic AOR. I have both albums. One of the albums was just Ted and a guitarist.. all acoustic. The second album had a full band and even had Tony Harnell (TNT) dueting on one song with Ted. Awesome!

Danger Danger are Bruno Ravel on bass, Steve West on drums, Ted Poley on vocals and Rob Marcello on guitar.
The band have been recording throughout the 90's. Ted left after he'd recorded Cockroach. Paul Laine stepped in and re-recorded Cockroach, but the album wasn't released at the time, due to a legal battle. The band then recorded Dawn, Four The Hard Way, Return Of The Great Gildersleeves, and released some live material, before eventually resolving the legal battle. Cockroach was then released as a double cd, with both Paul and Ted's versions.
After Ted, Kasey and Andy left, the band continued as a 3-piece, with Bruno, Steve and Paul. They brought in Rob Marcello on guitar for the 2003 tour, and most recently Ted was welcomed back. not sure what happened to Paul.

I saw them last night in Dudley and it was great to see Ted back, it could of been the 90's all over again, was a great show

Re: Paul Laine being accepted by the DD crowd, I'd go along and say I prefer Paul's voice to Ted on record. Paul seemed to have a throat problem on the 2003 tour here though, and Ted is more of a showman, even if he is looking a bit like Vince Neil lately.

lol!!! @ Ted looking like Vince Neil
I noticed he had gained a few pounds but he is deffinatly a performer and got the crowd going
