UVa gets big commitment

from Peter Lalich...he has been a huge Hoo lean but when you get a player like that it is always a reason to celebrate

he should be a 4 star and one of the top 3 guys in the state...which makes UVa's 5th commitment if im not mistaken after they picked up another big get in J'Courtney Williams out of Christchurch, VA who will also be a 4 star prospect

id say UVa is gonna need a couple RB's in this class to offest last year's de-commits...but the in-state battle between VT and UVa should be one of the better ones in a long time

Agreed, it's a great get for us. But give me some depth on the O and D lines and then maybe I'll be excited.

Did you see that Mallett committed to Michigan?

Lalich is more of a uva type that they need. I think they have been looking to get another Schaub type, not a Haggans type.

I did see where Mallett was going to announce today. I guess Texas was out after Brantley agreed to go there.

The story I heard was that they offered both Brantley and Mallett, and told them both whichever one committed first would get the scholly, and that the other would lose their offer. Brantley jumped at it, Mallett is now going to Michigan.

Thats actually what happend with Fanuzzi and Forcier too.

i really like Mallett...i think he fits well with Michigan, they brought in Kevin Grady at RB and a couple good young WR's (Bass, Dutch, etc.) they could be building for a huge season in the future in Ann Arbor
