Total agreement. I like coming on to find out what's happening in SWVA and bat around the occasional debate. Nothing wrong with that as long as everybody understands that it's just a computer and we all have different outlooks on stuff.

I'm always amazed by people getting angry over things said on an internet forum? The key to an internet debate is not getting mad and expressing your opinion in a manner that might sway others to your way of thinking. Never attempt to sway the person you are debating, wrong tactic.
I've spent umpteen hours debating evolution, creationism and other hot button religous topics with some pretty vocal atheists including Joe Rogan (yeah that Joe Rogan). If you get mad you're dead meat. You had better be prepared to wade through insults with a smile.
I have asked for an accounting due to things said on the net but I have never, and I mean never, gotten angry over anything on an on-line debate.
