I was watching Anderson 360 last night and they were talking about Evoloution. Do you believe in Evoloution? Why?

I juess it would depend on what you mean.

Breeding higher yeild Dairy Cows and new Dog breeds are both forms of Evoloution

Now I personaly belive that God has steared Evoloution on its course

When I used to have satellite, there was a show that used to come on Angel One called the Creation Network. It was a pretty interesting show. Only drawback is that those religious hacks would try to peddle their products at every commercial break, making it hardly bearable to watch.

Well, Im a reply to this as bad as I hate too. When someone says evolution, it should be or it is 2 very different things. In terms of creation vs evolution, or simply evolution. Simple evolution is a real thing, you have to look no further than your own children many times. Bigger, Stronger, Faster. Evolution in the terms of something adapting to its surroundings. Many animals, people, or any other thing you can think of adpats and evolves. To put it in the best terms on a sports based web site, look at Drik Nowitzki, a 7ft tall 2-guard. 20 Years ago, he would have been pigeon holed into a low post player most likely, yet now as the game has evolved and so have the skill of the players, he is a primier player in the NBA at the G/F position.

As for the other, thats someone else's argument. But what I am saying is, the term "evolution" does not always mean "we came from monkeys"

Just the theory that says we evolved from Monkey's.

Yes, I am aware of that. I was wanting to discuss the part of evoloution that says we do come from monkeys.

I definitely believe in Evolution.
Evolution though, does not say we come from monkeys.
Those who are told this and believe it need to learn about it to understand the full concept.

Someone out there thinks there's a common ancestor between ape and human but it's not been found or proven yet.
It's only a theory.

The times of existence of the various hominid shown in the chart above are based on dated fossil remains. I think you are wrong the theory says that humans and apes may have had a common ansester way back when not that one came from the other.


I am not educated enough in Biology to make a great argument one way or the other. However there is no question conserning Micro-Evalution but for Macro-Evalution you either have to look at fossel records and guess or have faith that the world was made in 6 days depending on what you belive

Don't know about evolution per se, but I do know there is tremendous genetic variability in all species.
