glamfly Dan wanted me post when I heard Lonny new bands name. I have been told it's called MY BETTER HALF. Well be checking them out soon as they play again and get more info. If any body in LA wants to see them. They are going to play a couple of shows in the next month at The GIG in Hollywood. This is all second hand news to me. So just keep a eye out. www.TheGig.info

I was just listening to Bubblegum Starz this morning, and always have the Lonny demos in the car too......I still think he'd have a better shot at making it, regardless of what the musical climate is, if he stood out from the crowd (like HTM)...rather than try to figure out what the musical climate is after. Just my 2 cents. A voice like that is a terrible thing to waste, but Good Luck to him regardless.
I guess I'm a bit ignorant on the subject. I've only got The Hit List, but I don't see what the big fuss is all about. Sounds like a ruff version of early PBF to me. Maybe I'm tone deaf.

My first impression was 'poor man's PBF', and I don't see that changing. Like I said, I only have Hit List to go on. I've heard the songs numerous times now, I ripped them to my hard drive and stick Media Player on random.
Not saying I don't like it, it just doesn't stand out from the crowd, for me. I prefer LBWET.
TIS ALL GOOD BUT FOR ME ILL TAke take my htm over pbf. i love both bands but just my opinion...and yours is your and that is all good. not a problem.

like i said i love both bands. but just more fonder of htm then again...the end of pbf was the beggingin of heart throb mob. and when htm was done pbf came back with most of the original memebers. loved it when keri kelli was in floyd got a few bootlegs with kelli in it playing with
by himself and also playing with kristy majors as well....pretty cool vids.
