Brett Favre's consecutive start streak or Cal Ripken Jr's?
Favre's...Cal wasn't getting slung on his a$$ 5-10 times per game..lol..and Cal didn't play a position that produced that much wear and tear on his body (ie. pitcher, catcher)
I think its Favre's as well, just seeing what everyone else thinks
I'm a Brett Favre fan, but Cal Ripken's streak is more impressive by far.
i think ripikens is simply because he was doing it every night instead of just once a week
Wow that is a great question............
Cal played normally 6 out of 7 days in the week with one off day for the team.
Brett played 1 out of 7 days and could miss practice to heal up before the next weeks game, Cal didn't have that luxury.
Brett took more of a beating and had more injuries.
So I officially call this one a tie, they equal out in the end
But, if I'm not mistaken, Favre's streak is consecutive starts....Cal's isn't necessiarily. He could come in and pinch hit and keep his streak alive.

True, but he was in the starting line-up everyday.

thats true
but look at how many times cal was used as a PH or something like that during his streak
me thinks you could probably counts them on your fingers
I'm not saying Cal wasn't great and that Cal used that as a crutch to keep his streak alive. I was just pointing out the differences in the player's respective streaks. Both are great accomplishments. One missed start would ruin Favre's streak...but it wouldn't Cal's as long as he played in some capacity.
