Now its nasty time...

As Rocket has previously stated tonight, the Burton/Clintwood game is less than a week away. The LPD title will be on the line. Both are almost assured a playoff spot no matter the outcome but it sure would be nice to have a fresh LPD title sign at Cummins.

As a Clintwood fan, I have over the past 5 years, developed quite a distaste for the Burton Raiders in the way they conduct themselves on and off the field as far as arrogance and overall attitude is concerned. I respect Jimbo and admire what they have done in the past 5 years, but beating Norton is the #1 priority for myself as a Clintwood fan. I believe most Clintwood faithful share the same sentiment.

I beleive that our tougher schedule has helped us the same as it did last year. Burton has not been pressed at all this season. I believe that the game will be close, but I think that our offensive line will eventually impose its will on the Raiders. Alec Osborne will be able to chase down Miles. Ken Crowder said tonight that people have underestimated the Greenwave speed and I have to agree. I have yet to see anyone faster than Osborne and Robinson.

Both teams are healthy. You better get to Clintwood EARLY.

Clintwood is just as fast as Norton and twice as strong.

If CW keeps a level head, they take JIB apart.

I would love for nothing more than to absolutely spank Norton friday. The Raiders better bring their tissues cause Ive got a feeling there is gonna be some crying going on afterwards. The whole town is gonna be nuts this week and I think we are prepared and ready for an absolute brawl. It will be close but the Raiders wont be able to handle the Wave for 4 quarters.

Burton hasn't really been tested. No, not even by my own alma mater, PV.

If i get off work Friday i will not go to the PV game. I'll be in Clintwood sitting on Clintwoods side cheering for them like i would for PV. That's much i dislike Norton's fans and some of their players/coaches

Sounds like a personal problem to me, dont know what beef you would have with any players/coaches.

Sounds like you get butt hurt too easy when someone mentions Norton. I have my reason for not liking players. I know alot of them i did just graduate. And you are the reason alot of pv fans hate their fans there pal. Shall we bring that back up???

If they let a 17 yr old (at the time) that laid a shirt down hurt their feelings that bad then "they" have problems. You dont know much about the players obviously, atleast the starters last year who were for the most part a class act on and off the field. Seen all kinds of players from both teams taking pics together after that game. Like I said, a personal problem.
