See where the Lions just gave Stafford something like 42 million guaranteed. Absolutely ridiculous. The NFL needs to fix this and make a law limiting the contracts for draftees. When he makes more than proven stars who have been beaten on for years and won Superbowls before he even touches the practice field, it is a problem.

Also, I just don't see this working for the Lions. Go ahead and set them back a couple more years, because drafting a bust QB in the top ten is like poison to an organization. I think he has more than adequate talent, but it's Detroit. They couldn't even win a playoff game with Barry...

the 49ers got luckier than shit, i never ever ever dreamed Crabtree falls that far, but its a helluva pick.

I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER pull for the Oakland Raiders again in my lifetime. I am done, the decisions these idiots have made over the last few years shows why we are one of the most dysfunctional franchises in all of football. Hell, I would take Matt Millen right now, he would have drafted exactly who I would have wanted him to, MICHAEL "FRICKIN" CRABTREE.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, WTF? Not that I don't think he is a good receiver, he just isn't a Top 5 pick. Latter 1st Rd, early 2nd round maybe. Speed can only get you so far, you have to catch it too.

Then Matt Mitchell in Rd 2, WTF? These people are pure morons and I am sick of watching it.

Those Raiders picks were definitely head scratchers.

I would have liked to been a fly on the wall in the Raiders War Room...... I am guessing that you had to leave your common sense at the door and anybody with a rational thought must have been shown the exit. I can't help but every 10 minutes start talking to myself asking WTF could they have been thinking? It just makes no sense.

honestly, and im not jus trying to brag cause the niners got him, but how can you justify taking hayward-bey over crabtree? even if crabtree's foot was still hurt slightly, hes still more valuable than DHB.

After I talked to you earlier and I was driving home from Kingsport, I was listening to the draft coverage on ESPN Radio. I heard them say the safety that they picked wasn't even rated in the top 100 safeties, but they take him in the first 30 some picks overall. I heard Kiper a while ago say he was a late 5th rounder at best. :) Sorry dude.

The Roy Williams trade really hurt Dallas. Most of the players they had slated to fall to them at 51 were already gone. Now they have twelve second day draft picks and no players taken in the first day...Not real sure how I'm liking this...

The Raiders. Wow. I can understand them trading down to get Hewyard-Bey if he was really their man. Just taking him at seven is absolutely the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. Now they ahve to pay a late first/early second round talent top ten money.

The Broncos have a stupid draft too. Stupid offseason. Josh Mcdaniels apparantly rides the shortbus to work.

Absolutely thrilled with the Draft for my Fins. For the first time in ages,needs were met. Vontae Davis gives us a physical CB that can play and get after it. Pat White IMO is the steal of the draft IMO. He may not fit elsewhere,but in the Wildcat (wherever you line him up),he'll wreak havoc,and then you get a nice grab with the kid from Utah at #3 (a bit raw,but he'll develop).

I thought Baltimore was going for a WR, but I thought wrong. Could be that the good ones were taken, but we managed to get a nice OT and a decent linebacker who will do just fine in B*More.
