I have not seen the new direct snap feature of the UT offense I heard about in the pre-season. I don't see them breaking it in at Florida next week, why in the world did they not at least bring it out for a couple plays today? Makes no sense to me, let Brown and Hardesty just get it and run. Richardson too, he hasn't been utilized at all yet for UT. Teague has, and he has impressed, but Richardson hasn't been given the opportunity yet.
well, Crompton isn't what he was projected to be coming out of HS. What was he, #2 behind Sanchez in that recruiting class? of course being in 4 different O-systems in 4 years doesn't help. Only the best of the best would thrive in that. Clausen going to ND looks like it hurt UT a lot now. Did he even consider UT or did he not like the way Rick was handled at UT or what? Plus how many top flight QBs would have wanted to come to UT the last 5 years with the type of O we have been playing? you beat a team like "Southern Ramesy Jr College" 17-13. your top QB's want to air it out. Erik Ainge could have been so much better that what he got to show. I think if Kiffen shows some fire and some potential to put up big numbers we will get a top qb in a couple years.

The Clausen's were always in love with ND. If Casey or Rick had had offers to play there, that's where they'd have been. UT finished 2nd for Jimmy and I'm not sure how much he'd help either. When he plays the Navy's of the world and other bottom feeders he looks decent, not so much when he plays the USC's.Quote:

He won't get a death threat from me, but I do think he needs to be a little more patient in looking for receivers and quit trying to force the ball. He lacks patience, and in quarterbacks, that is a killer in and of itself. I bet Kiffen tied a huge richard knot in his butt after the game.
