GC vs Leb

It was a heck of a game and from what i understand the GC coaches got things started before the game even started when they tryed to keep the Lebanon coaches from getting setup in the pressbox.........To me it looks like GC spent WAY to much time *****ing and moaning about the game being played at UVA-Wise and not enough time foceing on the team that they would be playing

It gets me thinking about all the times I would hear the GC folks complaining about Colobro choking in the playoffs (Never thought he got the respect he diserved down there) I wounder if House will suffer the same fate

That being said With the young Talent GC had this season they should be the preseason 2010 pick to win the region

Are you kidding me?? Are they that petty and childish that they would seriously try to stop Lebanon from setting up?

Counts, please explain

I was not up there at the time but the 1st hand account of the situation was that GC took both boths and would not move till Cusco who was the UVA-Wise rep forced them out

jesus christ

why am I not surprised?

I say just let GC form their own district and play against themselves the whole ****ing season. They will never be happy until they get every single detail in their favor, so let em have it. Let them play GC against GC every week, thatll be the only way to pacify them

Maybe if you guys knew the entire story and what led to this you wouldn't be so quick to jump GC. It all goes back to the regular season game when the GC coaches were locked out of the press box at Lebanon and told it was full.

yeah we are a bunch of b1tch f$%ks....
anyway
haha

If Nick Bowen steps up and plays some good QB he has the talent to actually throw the ball around for GC...we also have some good recievers...Logan byrd our BY far best WR was out the whole season, his return will solidify the passing game along with youngster cory franklin, if nick steps up however this would open the way for dusty to play RB..which would be outright great. coach reeds son also comes up next year, he will more than likely patch a big whole that was left by senior aaron stokes.

So because one person did it, its okay for you to do it?

Thats a terrible attitude to have, and it shows how childish and bitter the GC staff is.

Be the better man and act like an adult, instead of acting like junior high girls fighting over a hair bow.

If person A goes out and robs your liquor store, is it okay for you to go out and rob their convenience store? Why not just act like adults, show class, and go on about their business?

but its GATE CITY, nobody wrongs them and lives to tell about it!!

Either way, it hardly matters at this point. What matters now is Lebanon advanced to the semi-state game and Gate City didn't. Time to start prepping for basketball, GC. And everyone should support Lebanon all the way since they're from this area, regardless of the silly press box incidents. I hope they do well versus Radford this Saturday

I agree about the whining about playing at Wise. Clintwood didn't whine, Lebanon didn't whine, Burton didn't whine, only GC did.

Let's face it, GC has good teams in about every sport. But they always want things their way.

That is ridiculously childish to try and take over both booths for coaches at the regional championship game. As for what happened at Lebanon, it's their field and their pressbox. They have the right to keep other teams out if they want. Maybe that was a little payback for something that had happened at GC in the past, such as all the cursing and abusive language that kids have to put up with from behind the bench when they play at GC, since the authorities conveniently ignore that anything goes on.

and to beat it all, it takes just as long to get to Wise from Lebanon as it does Gate City.

Shoot it takes about 40 minutes to get from Clintwood to Wise, it takes an hour to get from Gate City to Wise.
