Twin Valley is going to be running the Wishbone according the Bristol Herald Courier article. I figured there would be a big change in the offense. Last year they ran T and the Wishbone is practically the same thing. I think they would be better off in an I or Split Backs. They can't win out of the 'Bone.

I agree Huskerfan I think they should go to the I or splitbacks. It would give them a lot more options and I don't think they have the personell to be a power football team.
-
I'm agreeing with Legend here. Unless they really pumped some iron in the offseason they'll get destroyed if they run out of wishbone
-
TV will be running the bone only as an option in a multi-set offense. The new offense will feature, the wing T, Pro I, split backs, spread etc. This is being done to utilize the speed and the lack of strength up front. Lineman will be given more angle blocks, dont sweat the wishbone comment. It is only an option in the muti-set offense.
whoooooooooooooooo!
-
Wing T. Ya'll must be quick to pull that off
-
That is a lot of different sets. That will be tough to pull off especially since TV hasn't had much variation in their formations in the past.
-
Dunduin I wouldn't say you have to have speed to run the Wing T.
-
I heard Wise was going to run the Wing T but decided not to due to lack of speed. Now they're going to go straight up T and run all over people.

Dunduin are you a moron? J.J. Kelly has ran the T and Wing T for about 4 years. The way they use the Wing T speed isn't a factor. It is misdirection. The Wing T is great because it can give a team with less talent a chance to win because of the misdirection.
