Hey Guys, I need some help

I know this is the men's club, but I wanted to post this thread where there wouldn't be a lot of eyes on it. My wife and I have been keeping our 8 year old grand daughter for the past 6 months. We bought her a computer for Christmas as she is a pretty damned responsible 8 year old. She took the computer the other day to her other granny's house the other day. Now, her aunt, who is 17 is a self proclaimed lesbian and used my grand daughter's computer and downloaded a bunch of "tongue licker" sites. We caught this about 2 days after she came home. Now, don't get me wrong, I like to see girl on girl as much as anyone, but for her to use the computer to view this shit because her(the 17 yr old) didn't want her mom to catch her looking is bad. Not only that, but my grand daughter has always been really excited about going to see her "nanny". But she called me ealry wanting to come home and she acted really odd. And since has said that she didn't want to go there anymore. Well, I told my daughter and her husband and they came and are taking her back to Germany with them because of this and in a way, are blaming me and the wife for this. I really do think that the 17 yr old tried, or at least attempted something with my grand daughter because her change in attitude was just not the norm for her. The 17 yr old is a really wierd person in the she says and does things that no one would ever do in public. Something is not right in the head with this girl. If I say something about it, then my daughter has threatened to not let me and the wife see the kids, what should I do.

I would talk to you're granddaughter and she if you can find out if the 17 year old touched her in any way.If so go to the cops. As far as you're daughter blaming it on you I don't get that at all and I'm not sure what i would do about that.

Well, I asked my grand daughter and she would neither confirm nor deny it. I told my daughter and she basically got mad because I suggested that something may be wrong. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't even give it a thought, but this girls's facebook page is full of perverted things like pictures of her sticking her finger in a Barbie Doll's crotch and of her licking a doll's crotch along with captions of just nasty, dirty, perverted things that she would like to do and get done. I am telling you, this girl is wierd.

the hospital can usually find out if a child has been touched, but if they find evidence, if law and order svu is true, they have to report it and bring in the police.

but it is NOT YOUR FAULT! nor your wife. you had no idea something like this would happen. again, you did nothing wrong.

I echo those sentiments exactly. Wow what a tough situation you are in amigo. I'm sure there's no easy solution sadly. I'll be thinking about you and your family.

Agree with Biggin and Unchained here. I believe I would have her checked.

Herein lies my biggest problem, she is on her way back to Germany with her mom and dad. Believe me, I have done what I can, the rest is up to the proper authorities. They(my daughter and her husband) have "scooped" her up from us really suddenly. The military authorities do know and they have assured me that they will take the proper steps. All I can do is pray that this will not "fracture" my family any more than it already has.

Man I really hate to hear this but I think you have done everything you can do for the situation. I also think you took the exact right steps and it is now up to the parents to do the right thing and not ignore the situation. I wish you the best of luck.

Man, that's a tough situation. Hope it turns out the best possible for you.

My advice would be to make sure you have some pretty good evidence before really getting into it. This is a serious issue and a serious accusation, while she may be weird, a pedo is a really sick person and a far cry from just being a weird ass person...this can bring a lot of attention on this girl and your granddaughter that would stick with both of them for life and possibly ruin it. With that said, it should be looked into, but only within the family for right now IMO. From what you know, it's definitely a reason to be suspicious, but really just all speculation.
