Congrats to Phil Robbins...

for winning his last game at Bullit Park. Right now the guy is 307-150-4 and has a winning percentage of over 60 % (stats from a guy on the radio). I've got problems with the guy and don't think he's the worlds best person but congrats to him on a good run. Everyone else can post the b.s. below about having talent, ect. but I've saw tons of coaches do nothing with talent. Congrats to one of the best coaches ever to coach in the area.

He had a long stint and did well. However did you notice tonight during the presentation hardly no one was clapping for him during the presentation? Why do you feel like that is?

Wasn't there. The reason for that would be too many morons that he spoiled for 20+ years.

It could have been a number of things including disapproval, who knows? What do you mean by "morons he spoiled"?

Those morons are the same ones who praised him as God 15 years ago to treating him like dirt and trying to run him out of town the last 5-6.

You could be right on that one. I felt that he use to have some support, but it seems now he only has a handful. What could be some reasons for this in your opinion?

I clapped and am sad to see him go, I wish he'd hang on until they closed the school. People at PV are spoiled, go watch other local high school games and tell me Phil isn't still one of the best.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think Phil has more LPD titles as a coach than any other school has. He's won 15, CW is the only school that could be close and I don't think they have won but 13?

I agree he is and was a good coach as far as the game, but sometimes other things are as important or maybe more important. Structure of the team seems to be declining over the years and maybe his relationships as well. What do you contribute it to?
