People are sleeping on Union. Athletics in the LPD will get so bad that within five years John I. Burton will crying to every district in the area to accept them so they can get away from the big bad Bears/Wolfpack in football and the big bad Warriors in Baseball/Girls Basketball.
Oh my aching head......its been awhile since Ive been on here and was intrigued on the possibilites for next year and then I see people talking about Union and Central....the last I read the school consolidations were one big mess and it was far from a done conclusion.....someone fill me in please
so let me ask this question. I'd have to get a coalfield to see but I think I saw where they wouldn't use any of the current names of mascots. So because it was JJ Kelly it it ok to call the new school Wise Central or will it be called Central High? Wise Central seems to close to the old name with JJ Kelly and Wise both being used to describe the school.
It's not Wise Central, it's just Central. Central High School.
Doubt it........ but it will be even more embarASSing to get beat by a school with 200 kids when you have 700 vs the getting beat by them now with 450 vs 200. Norton is not going to be too bad this year I don't think, return a lot of players on both sides of the ballQuote:
