This stuff has been for sale for a couple years at least. Might have been CL listings, this might be the first ebay listing.

The half mil price tag and most of the pics are very familiar, maybe a couple new ones at the end. There were a couple threads over at AK on it maybe a year ago or so.

Seems to be a different seller this time around, i'm pretty sure i recognize this seller as one who offers some better Altec goodies from time to time, sometimes some really nice stuff.

I'd like 4 of those 2242's............

I really haven't tracked it, and it was pure coincidence that i recognized the seller "myostuff". I'm nearly positive that seller is one who sometimes offers the droolworthy kind of stuff that gets posted here and elsewhere in "you gotta see this" and "not often seen" type threads. But, you've got me wondering.

This listing has been on eBay twice before that I'm aware of maybe more.. Never gonna sell IMHO ! They need to start breaking it up if they want to sell any of it IMO.

Absolutely. The only person who will buy it is a person that likes taking pictures of stuff, listing it on ebay and making 1000s of trips to the post office...basically doing what he is trying to avoid.

Or start listing things in multiple pairs, or something like this. Not Gonna Happen IMO...

That seller has nice stuff, but wants waaaay too much.
The 2242s have been listed before, again at high prices for eBay. They fetch ~US400 each.

To put this sellers listings into perspective he has 89 completed auctions with 1 sale. An interconnect cable... His prices are so off the wall i can't imagine him selling anything..He is probably paying more in listing fees then he is actually making by selling..:eek2:

Maybe he sells the stuff off ebay........ only using ebay for exposure, and avoiding the selling fees.
