so now i am wanting to take it out on you all. digitalcivic got me fired up..man i hate getin pulled over...most of my family have something to do with law enforcement and all my friends are cops...so when i get pulled because i drive a lowered import i get mad. but the rules go like this... you get pulled you be nice, say thank you or your life gets difficult..i have been in to many jail type situations to tell you to argue with a cop while he has the gun and the cuffs and he is bored of the donuts...(yea cops really eat donuts on duty.)...but i can tell you while drivin my domestic type vehicle i got pulled doin 96 in a 55 and the officer let me go cause well hell i don't know why,, but it was my dads vette and i was greatful. so far the only reason anyone has let me go in my civic is because they either knew me or i had the county sticker in the glove box......why did you get pulled and did you get out of it? how ??? let us all know please..maybe the rest of us could use the excuse ...

well i got pulled over in my truck for the reasons i mentioned in the other post. i got out of that cause my uncle is a state cop in another county and i took it there to be inspected and they told me that nothing was wrong with it. i got pulled over in my work truck(another mazda) cause it "sounded" like i was going to fast. he just gave me a warning and searched my truck. then in my old civic i got pulled over cause my back windows were tinted. i took it to the same barricks that i took the truck too and got out of that one too.

I was pulled over once when I had Temp Tags and the cop said they had expired (but I actually had one more day) and that I can't be driving anywhere except to a place of inspection or a mechanic. Then he asked for my license and while I was pulling it out he got a call on his radio and then he comes back to me and is like "Lucky for you some people were terribly injured in an accident, you are free to go." What an ass.
But I was pulled over before that for doing a rolling stop through a stop sign and I was polite to the cop and he was very nice and let me go off.
Basially if you try to start a conversation with the cop and just be cool and don't be an ass they will be cool and let you go unless you were doing something serious.
A lot of cops I know are hicks, so if you are listening to Journey, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest or other 80s rock in your car they will be cool and let you go.

I have had insanley good luck! I'm 21 and have never been pulled over.I mean my civ is not legal at all! here's the list, no front plate,all red tails,clear corners and bumpers all with with super white bulbs no color's what so ever, and no rear licence plate lights.I dont know why but i have never been pulled.Luck i guess.

It took my front plate off and never put it back. I have clear corners but with Amber bulbs so it's legal I guess. But it would be really hard for a cop to pull you over for no front plate, because most of the time they come from behind you, so how would they even see that. But I have it in my car and I can play dumb.

Got busted at the airport for a modified exhaust. It wasn't even state patrol, it was Airport police or some shit. Anyways, I'm leaving the parking garage waiting to pay, and the cop walks up to the car and shines the MagLite in my face, talkin about how I was "hot-dogging" through the parking garage (Bullshit), and my exhaust was too loud (everythings loud in a frickin' parking garage). So I beat that one in court.
Also, I was sitting in my car in a parking lot, waiting for a friend to show up, and a cop comes haulin' ass up on me, locks up the brakes, and swings his spotlight on me. Comes up to the car, license & registration, blah blah blah, wants to know what I'm doing. Then he sees this bigass bag of popcorn sitting in my back seat (I had been at a party earlier, no alcohol or drugs and when I left they gave the popcorn to me). So he asks me in a snotty tone where I got the popcorn, and I told him "I was just at a party..." and before I can even finish my sentance he's all "YOU BEEN DRINKING?" real loud. Then, he's got me out of the car doing Field Sobriety Tests and shit. Finally my friend shows up, and the cop just lets me go, finding nothing to bust me on.
That's just 2 of the more memorable ones, too many more to tell...

ahhh SNAP! now you got me going. i live in a small town. i honestly believe the cops actually search for me. as soon as 1 thing changes i get pulled over. and it doesn't matter if i follow the rules or not. got pulled over 3 times in one week over my clear tails. i tried 2 pairs (4 total) of L.E.D.s and i put reflectors on. nothing was good enough until i took them off. just recently i had to take my front bumper off after the accident. the whole time it was off i got pulled over right and left (literally once a day). i'm going to assume that because my car was damaged they assumed i didn't have ins and figured i was an easy target. everytime i would get some bs reason why i was pulled over, i would grab my ins card right quick (before they even ask), they would look at it and then let me go.
but, you know what? it's all good. why fight it, right? i have ins., reg., and a clean driving record. i have come to a point where i have just gotten used to it. it's not right, but it's the life of a sweet import owner. i suppose worse things can happen then getting pulled over.

let me see,,where do i start,,,one morning around 4:30 am i was driving to work on the freeway and i got pulled over for doing 75 in a 65.
another time i got pulled over for doing 60 in a 40.
one time i was driving home from my dads house which is 20 min away from where i live and i got pulled over, not exactly sure why .it was around midnight on a saturday night.the cop makes me get out and asks me to take some tests,he puts the light in my eye and says my eyes are dialated,i was like what , the only thing i did was take a nap earlier,they searched my car which at the moment i had 2 amps sitting in the backseat, they checked the vin numbers on the amps to see if they were reported stolen ,and they found a razor blade in my car and was asking me if i was cutting up, after about an hour of searching and asking questions he said he wanted to check my eyes again,he checks and then he says hey,,the strobe lights from my cop car is making your eyes dialated,so he looks at my eyes away from the strobe lights and says your eyes are fine

Let's see i got pulled over for rpping out 1st and 2nd to svoid being side swiped once and got pulled over even tho i wasnt speeding at ne time got off, got written up at work amd almost fired for my exhuast being too loud in the parking garage, pulled over for going with a train of 3 cars to a friends house i was the only import, got off, pulled over for speeding said he paced me i knu better got dropped have to attend driving school, got pulled over for street racing on an old abandoned dead end in the middle of nowhere, got off with general speeding, i won the race by 2 car lengths, oh and i got pulled over for having a red eyebrow, said that red on the windsheild was illegal again verbal warning. I got pulled over for doing 140kmh in a 50kmh zone. Cop let me go because they were on work to rule.
Then about a week ago i get chased down and my car searched for weapons. They thought i was involved in a fight that just went on. Witch i was but wasent stupid enough to keep the weapons in my car [img]wink.gif[/img]
Then i also got a ticket for Not stopping for a pedestrian...????THE DAMN KID WASENT EVEN IN A CROSSWALK... geez
