I am starting to think about doing this project myself. What all is involved?
i know i need a new shift linkage, and HASport mounts. but electrical wise what am i going to have to watch out for and do?
I am looking for any information possible. I'm going to research this as much as possible to i have no surprises when the time comes.

Actually.. won't be that bad.. if you've got another daily driver that you can use in the mean time... I was plannin on doin my own, but college and work is in the way.. so I've got a buddy puttin in for me.. as for the mounts.... I was told that the 1st gen SiR motor should go right in... just thought I'd drop in my $.02

Yikes, NO the SIR motor NEEDs the mount kit, unless you reposition the factory mounts.
i think if you can repalce a stock motor, you can stikc a b16 in there. With the mount kit it bolts in, only need to wire up a few things

I'm only worried about the electrical half.
I can get a engine hoist no problem.
Wont it be pretty much a plug and play except for the vtec? and where would i wire the vtec to, the ecu? and engine or is it a little more than that?
and i can still use the stock relays, fuses ect...
All the electrical stuff gets wired into the ecu right? no under the hood... am i right or am i missing somthing?
I am at school right now and dont have the like to the place for the Helms manual.

I dunno jeff. I would definitely recommend you get a Helms manual. They are the factory Honda manuals. You will most likely need it for wiring and stuff. I might try this swap if I had another car to drive for a while, I wouldn't trust it to be something I would expect to go right in a weekend or anything.
I think the motor itself would go in relatively easily, but then the wiring and all the other stuff would be the worries.

4-doors kick butt & I in a quandry about that ZC! Woo hoo...it looks like things are going to work out! Yippee...I can smell the oil and grease from the ZC now! :)
