Looks like Ultimate 7 is neck to neck with Xtreme Xcrement--whoops--excuse me!--Xmen. We know which is better don't we? (*hint hint* Nightcrawler) Let's show those snooty Xtreme fans what the best from Marvel in June was!!
Well I don't know if anyone cares, but the poll was a tie. Ultimate and xtreme both got 29%.

I wasn't either. In fact, I was so bored and mad that I paid 3 bucks for it that I immediately took it off my pull list. People who like that crap are just ga-ga over the god of the xmen, Claremont. He's like the Emporor who has no clothes. He's writing shit and his devoted fans just eat it up. They wouldn't know a good read if they were smacked upside the head with it.
Yeah Claremonts new book isnt the greatest but its ok.I like Uncanny,New,Ultimate,X-Force,Exiles and Brotherhood a hell of a lot better.
I mostly just pick it up for Psylocke.But it looks like she might kick the bucket.If she does Ill just be picking it up out of habit.Besides you never know when it will connect to one of the core titles.I like to stay informed.

Yeah, I buy things out of habit a lot too. I'm gonna give Xtreme a bit longer before I give up the ghost. I get it for Storm and Beast. But we know where Beast is going so soon it'll just be for Storm.
I think he's killing Rogue's character in there. He's doing to her what he did to Nighty. I feel for her fans. I can hardly wait until he starts butchering Gambit in there.

I don't know about the Rogue fans. Seems like most of them believe in Claremont. I've had so many of them yell at me at xfan. You can't say ANYTHING about their precious Rogue without them coming at you. They make endless excuses for Rogue's whining and attack other books and characters. I guess they are just so diehard they can't admit to themselves when something is seriously wrong. And yeah, I think Gambit's about to be ruined to. He's just gonna be Rogue's loyal bitch. I'm glad the elf isn't in that book. I don't want claremont to ever write him again.
I can't help liking Rogue, I just do, as much as I do Kurt....

There really is no excuse for Rogue to whine, she never did before CC left the first time...she was the best back then.
*Sigh* Well, after X-Men 100-103, where Rogue did not whine, I have regained a shimmer of hope that CC might be able to bring Rogue back to the way she should be. The first two issues haven't done much good though. Heck, I pick it up more for Psylocke, Storm and Sage then for Rogue, I do not enjoy her when she's whiney.

Sorry Sugah, I forgot you liked Rogue. Anyway I don't include you in my little ranting. Maybe the people I've had run-ins with are just a vocal minority.
My favorite Rogue is from 1983 to 1991 during CCs run.
I was hoping CC would do her justice until he added those darn claws.I dont want more power--I want more characterization!
