*geeks out* eeeeee...! Dave Cockrum is asking me questions about how i did an animated Nightcrawler pic http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/tongue.gif how cool is that? oh and BC, he likes your smilies btw. (he appears to be a fan of smilies in general) but i made a new one for X-Fan (didn't think it would be right sending him one of yours without permission...)to bad this site has a black backgorund i designed it with X-Fan in mind wihich has a light colour sheme but anyway....

By all means, use the smilies I designed. It's what I did for them.
By the way, great smilies yourself. Would you be interested in finishing those two out as part of a series. {Adding like: sad, mad, love, etc....} I would be happy to host in my Chat Icon series.
If you want I can make that one gif transparent for you. Nice Bamf effect. I'm using Adobe Image Ready, expensive, but excellent program http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif I am nearing completion of some animated versions of the elf icons I showed the board earlier. Right now there are only about 20 diff ones, which I think would make a fairly decent first set.
Hey Night_Crawler can you change the boards default similie set?

that would be great of you, if you could make it transparent, BC! X-Fan just posted my bamfing one before it was finished though. oh well. I use Gif Construction Set and for some reason it is not making them transparent, eventho i save the frames as transparent gifs in Photoshop... and sure, i can make more http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

nevermind as you may have noticed.. it is transparent. i had forgotten, i HAVE Adobe Image Ready, it ocmes with Photoshop 5.5 and i had completely forgotten about it... oops. thanks for reminding me about it tho!

Cool, glad you have that program. It is great for ani gifs, but it has a multitude of uses for web grapics in general. I need to finish reading my book on it to get up to speed.
One minor note, you might want to look at choosing a lighter blue color for the NC simile icon. Otherwise it may come across too dark on lighter pages. As the dark blue and black will meld together and any subtlty in expression may be lost. But this is more a personal quibble.
Congrats http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif on X-Fan using your simile. See if you can resubmit the new update transparent icon to him.
For some reason I never thought to give my little emoticons of nc hair. Yours turned out nice, though. I didn't think I could make it work. Glad to see someone prove me wrong.

hmm... you may be right there, i will experiment with a lighter colour... i'd be completely fine with you adding my smilies! but i want to do a couple more for X-Fan first, Storm, Colossus and Magneto... then i'll do more nighty ones

well the Nightie on ended up being VERY popular at X-Fan.... lil bamfing Nighty's all OVER the place. Dave and several others have it in thier sig and everything, so i am making more for X-Fan... Storm, Colossus, Magneto, Sabretooth, Jean are on the list for the moment...
