both times tho it was with Cyclops as leader... (as much as i love nightcrawler, once i got Cyclops on my team there was no question who would be leader, i'm afraid... he does give a tremendous advantage to the team as a whole if he is leader) I had a great game with Nightcrawler as leader going, but ran into a bug when i pitted Nightie agianst Mastermind http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif whatever you do, do NOT put Nightie up agianst Mastermind... i'm sure he *could* beat him, but it causes the game to freeze.
Nightie is awesome in the game, tho. he took out Magnito with 100% health afterwards! go Nightcrawler!!

Really? I put Kurt up against Mastermind and defeated him with 100% health... I wonder why it locked up on you? The one person none of my team could defeat was Mystique with her stupid (LOL) intellect. She took out Chamber, Wolverine, Emma Frost, Shadowcat, and NC... Of course, some of 'em were dinged up from previous battles, but still! ~sigh~ Oh well.

yeah i wrote the guy(s?) who made the game, and he said he couldn't find a bug, but i ran into the same problem with Wolvie agianst Mastermind as well... weird.
yeah Mystique is a toughy, she seems to be especially hard on Kurt, i think they may have done that on purpose. the one i always loose agianst is Cassandra Niova tho... ooooohhh.. she's tough....Beast did well against her tho.
the BEST characters to get, and my absolute dream team for this game would be Cyclops as leader (can also tackle anythign that requires an energy attack fairly compitently), Nightcrawler (those 2 teleports really do the trick sometimes, good character to send in first before you know exactly what you're facing), Wolverine (only character that can beat Sabretooth singlehandedly... Nighcrawler can hold his own agianst him for a while, longer than anyone else besides wolvie, but he gets beaten eventually), Archangel (against a strength opponent, he is incredible!) and Beast, (got the best inteligence, and is still strong enuf that he can defend agianst a strength or fighting character while bashing them down with his mighty intilect).

Dagnabbit, Nocturne! I now have absolutely zero free time thanks to you mentioning this game. It's WAY too much fun!
And I've actually found Shadowcat to do very well against Sabretooth, especially if Cyclops is leader. Her Intellect attack gets decent damage to Sabretooth, and her high Fighting results in her not taking as much damage, plus the occassional counterattack.
Last night when I was playing, the game glitched and instead of Beast, I got Gambit's picture with no stats. Mastermind proceeded to hit me for 80% damage! Glitchy glitch.
Too much fun. Can't wait for the update...

Ditto, Darkholme, I have become ADDICTED to that game! I wish my computer would go a bit faster, then I could really enjoy it. Oh, well, at least with a low computer I can choose who I want.

hehehe-- yeah i'm evil huh?
oh i had the BEST game going today! i had such an awesome team, Nightie, Beast, Archangel, (the blue guys rule) Chamber and Iceman (that's right, onely ONE character away form getting the current Uncanny lineup and huge team bonuses! oh if only i had gotten Wolvie...) untilll.... Cassandra Nova AND Magneto showed up. grrr.... i still won, but got a lousy score.
first up was Nightcrawler who took out Toad wiht 100% health afterwards and he didn't even use any of his teleports, (kept getting toad with counterassaults instead! tee hee!) so it was like having 2 completely fresh characters in reserve, up next was the Beast versus the Black King, and he was doing ok, but i put Archangel in there with his strength attack immunity, and he took care of him easily, with only slight losses. it was shaping up to be a great game. then it was Chamber versus Cassandra. ouch. my weakest member versus the toughest villain in the game, Chamber took heavy losses in just one round with her. i put Nightcrawler in there and he took care of Cassandra, becuase he still had his 2 teleports left and was able to hit her hard with fighting, she only was able to hit him once.(go nighty! takes out Toad AND Cassandra in one game! he rules!) if it was just her, i would have still won with a good score, Nightie and Chamber both came out of the fight with Cassandra with like 50 health (that's only ONE HIT man she's powerful...), but they were my only hurt characters. and i would have had the knowledge I'd won agianst Cassandra Nova with Nightcrawler, NOT Cyclops as leader, but noooo.... then Magneto has to show up and spoil my fun. he hurts poor Bobby real bad, i can't put either Chamber or Iceman against him cause they can never get a successful attack in, so i'm stuck wiht Beast, Angel and an injured Nightcrawler. it took all 3 of them to finally beat Magneto. and Beast was killed in the process http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif oh well, guess i'll jsut have to try again... hopefully get some easy villains... and I WILL get the uncanny team... i will i will, i kinda wish my computer was slow enough that i could choose characters!

phht... what bonus? i think i got a score bonus, but... the game still sucked. oh well. i ended up choosing my initial battles poorly, Nighty got beatten around a bit by Sauron first thing, pulled him out, (put in Chamber... my only choice) Arhangel was orignally against Cassandra Nova and was taken down to 50 first hit, pulled him and put in Nightie. next up was Appocalypse agianst Wolverine, Wolvie kicked ass. next, Mr. Sinnister vs Iceman, Iceman *almost* took him, but after what i thought would be icemans final atttack sinnister was left with like 5% and killed bobby http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif
round 2. Chamber vs Sauron, Chamber got a good hit in, but i pulled him and put in Wolverine. Nightcrawler beat up Cassandra no problem, (he is REALLY good agianst her, Magneto, Sinnister, any of the toughies, but ONLY if his 2 teleports are left) Angel took care of that pesky 5% on Sinnister, and Wolverine took care of Sauron in round 3. my team was in pretty bad shape.... finished with a score of 45... and i was SO looking forward to seeing my name on the high score list with 'Uncanny X-men' next to Nightcrawlers picture.. too many just plain "X-Men" with cyclops up there. oh well.
atleast in the next version i think Nighty will be getting a leadership upgrade...

ok, now i'm confused.... (and talking to myself) i am playing, and as usual, i put Nightcrawler at the first location since unless it's Sabretooth or maybe Sauraon(unless cyclops is leading, likehe is right no ...) he ALWAYS wins his first battle, and it was Apocalypse, and he teleported THREE times! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/confused.gif anyone had this happen?? i wonder if he has another one in him....?
nope. only the three... other than the 3 teleports THAT was a disasterous game. (note, disasterous for me is anything below 60, and/or loosing a tem member, i got 50 and lsot Iceman.... again maybe i should stop choosing him for my team....) note, Gambit can take out Cassandra as well, but with less life in him than Nightcrawler afterwards. Nighty took out 2 real tough baddies as usual this game, Appocalypse and Magneto, but he needed a bit of help from Gambit for Magnito in the middle. bobby died again. damn boy just wont stay alive... plenty powerful but i always end up putting him up agianst the worst possible opponent for his combo of stats by sheer fluke (magneto).
