WHY HAVE WE GROWN APART?

What has happened to us all?
None of us are hardly online anymore. And if we are, we are off doing other online things.
Plus some people have completely left: Abe, lost soul, nin fan.....

I'm still close as ever with Axis, Tyler, whatever you wanna call him and I talk to Miral on ocassion but this board has been so dead and I have carpal tunnel and I'm swamped in work for school so I don't really come here much anymore.. Seriously, it's so dead. Why bother?

Well yeah, I know what you meant I just wanted to bitch [img]wink.gif[/img] . My life has changed drastically right before the board had it's little crash and burn, it's been two years and of the friends I had IRL in the period that I was also on this board I can honestly say I only still know one of them. The friends I still have are either from around the time I was changing or from before.

I think you can have friends for long periods of time, but other people and jobs and things come and go. I am definitely not who I was two years ago and basically coming to this board, or any board for that matter, is not at all a priority for me anymore. I get my debating kicks elsewhere and I have to spend more time behind the computer than I can manage anyway.

I'll drop in to see how it's going still every once in a while though. Once a Spawner always a Spawner I guess.

Yeah, but life changes people and circumstances. People grow apart, move apart, change hangout-crowds with changed interests etc. That's just the way life goes.

Although you may want to keep close contact with someone for an extended time, that's not always possible or practical.

*sigh*

i'm just one of those people that hates to see someone go.
you guys are more friends to me than most of my real "friends". we've been together for more than 4 years. a lot of people know me, and say they are my friends. but they don't really get to know me. they just see the freak that's on the outside. you guys don't see me that way. you guys see what's really there, what's on the inside.

i wish you guys would come here more often. and i wish some people would come back that i miss.
but i guess some things can't be helped.
