so a friend of mine from highschool was up in my area and spent the night on my couch this weekend. in highschool she was the combatboot/blue-mohawk punk girl with all the piercings, quiet, and the don't-mess-with-me attitude that made guys twice her size back away.
saturday she walks through my door,and i made a mental adjustment. Married, mother of twin girls, nice clothes, good hair, smiling, very perky attitude.... wow, she's changed a lot.
and then the other shoe dropped. along with my jaw. She's a pink-wearing (she HATES pink, still) Mary-Kay employee. I passed this on to other people and they didn't believe me. Just flat out insisted I was making it up. though she's probably one of the only MAry-Kay employees who plans to die her girls' hair once they're old enough to appreciate the fun of it. Sometimes life has some pretty funny curve balls.

Mary Kay cosmetics, I think they sell door to door or used to. Sort of like Jehovah's Witnesses with rouge. [img]wink.gif[/img]

We have two different groups from Mary Kay that have meetings in the hotel once a week...after observing these meetings for three years now, I'm quite convinced that Mary Kay is on par with the best cults out there...

And Mary Kay's like any other group of people. One on one some of them are fine, some of them are stupid... but en masse, they are intolerable...
