Heaven has a gate so you can't escape. Once your in there is no way out. Plus it just adds to the idea of heaven so people a good and would perfer to go there rather than be welcomed with fire.
when i think of something from which i cannot
escape, i think of a prison. is heaven a prison???
and i don't see how having a gate adds to
the idea of heaven....
