I still enjoy the movies, I just wonder why, especially with good movies, they mess up an otherwise good script with things they could fix or explain.

I like movies but I don't stick on things like that. But I stick on other things like in "Something's gotta give" with Keaton and Nichoslon Hans Zimmer is doing the music and he just slightly modified the score hee did for "as good as it gets" (also with Nicholson) and it got on my nerve all the way through the movie.

It's ok, I bug myself with it sometimes.
Animals often can smell or sense when another animal is sick.... and won't attack it.
It could be that they can smell or sense the Primal Rage infection in each other... and know that blood and flesh won't satisfy their hunger/thirst.
It's a vicious cycle of uncontrollable hunger for "fresh meat" with it killing them in the process.... like a drug addiction.
They don't show (much) of how the infected relate to each other. Just how they react when a non-infected is near.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">if you want to go with that theory, you could also say that most animals will not eat something that's already dead. only scavengers will eat carrion, so unless the rage infected zombies are scavengers, they would hunt out something warm, living and healthy to kill and eat, not attack something already dead.Quote:

It works for me better than the Dead vs. Undead explanation above because in that particular movie (28 Days Later) I don't think of the infected as "Undead Zombies"...
... They're Zombie-like in their mental capacity... but they're fast, mean, and seething with RAGE.
I just think that it unleashes the most primal forms of the infected people, so consequentally I would expect their senses to be more animal like as well.
Bought this movie last week, wish i wouldn't have, it sucked and was borrring as hell, basiclly a night of the living dead ripoff. IMO.
