For now, we're the only two souls
connecting from miles apart

morning and the noon
came in blasting through the door
with a written threat that

Okay, it's probably just my disgusting mind but "pearly white" at the beginning of the second stanza makes me think of sperm. Is that intentional?
Don't get me wrong. This is an incredible poem. Wish I'd written it myself. I guess I've just got sperm on the brain.
