As it starts to warm up here i have noticed that my car seems to not have any(loss) power during the day time when it is hot out. I am just using a filter on a stick right now. i am just wondering if you guys notice that also?

After running with the PMS and being able to monitor the specific timing I believe that when it gets warmer out the AIT sensor removes some timing due to the extra heat generated by the blower and the ECU's programming. When I took the JR relay off to use the PMS only for fuel control the first day it got 80F here my timing would be cut to 0BTDC and fall on it's face big time. This is because the JR tricks the ECU into thinking it's colder when under boost and negates this problem, for the most part, but it still appears to cut some even with the relay attached when the outside temps get too high (and I have a CAI also). I would see it go from like 11-14BTDC to @ 8-9BTDC after it got a chance to build up some heat.
With the PMS my goal was to remove the relay and use proper fuel management so to do this I have had to relocate a spare AIT sensor into the CAI before the blower so the stock ECU doesn't read the heated charge air.
The few degrees of timing lost due to the heat was fairly noticable also.

Yeh it is pretty bad. I think i am going to be looking at water injection soon if this is the case. I should have my AEM back from warrenty soon also which should help. I am going to try a make a cold air box around the filter on a stick. in the mean time! I thought there was something wrong with my car!!!

Redline,
I am just curious as to how much you have spent on your car. I know you went the N/A route and got all kinds of stuff and then decided to get the JRSC and build on that. Has it exceded the value of your car?

holden: i do not think the ice would be a problem. The reason i am think water injection is the street light races and road racing were that would not help!
SSBP: the only things that i am not using from my n/a days is my ITR cam (paid 290cdn sold it the other day for 250) Crane hi-6 paid 275 cdn. Still sitting at my house. and my DPR ported intake manifold. That was one of the main reasons for SC instead of turbo, was i was able to use a lot of the parts. I had been thinking of doing this for quite some time and back out of a lot of the stuff that i said that i was going to do. I watched this board and the things that were posted here to get an idea of issues that i first had with any FI on a honda engine. I think through the hard work that a lot of people have done here, IMHO FI in a honda is a very good choice!
Over the last year i have bought more tools then parts for my car and now can do most things myself. Which has helped with the costs. I guess i have a ruff idea of what i have spent and it make me sick to think about it, (it is a lot) Basicly i will have this car for life now and will just race it and drive it on the street less as time goes on.

A family came to my work one day looking for a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (I work for a Mitsubishi dealer) and saw my car and asked where I got it painted. I started shooting the shit with them and telling them and showing them my car. They asked for a test drive so I took them out. One ride and my car and they practically came all over themselves. He made me an offer and I told him I would sell it for 20K. We negociated a little and I settled for $19,300. Got my cashiers check in the mail the next day and the rest is history. They still call me to this day telling me how much they love my car.
