it's my kinda new catch cry. It has a Fargo-ian flavour and sounds hella funny!! (Eric Cartman still influences too too much---> that's the hella bit, not the ah yah bit). my other semi trademark phrase is fuck me dead. it's not as family oriented so i chose carefully where i use that one.

Oh my God. I just happen to check in, and you just posted this, but on top of that, one of my clients just started using this phrase during our editing sessions, and I was thinking about that today!
I can't remember Cartmen doing it. I know I've heard it before, but I thought it was from the Simpsons.

around here it sounds a little more like awwww-yeeeeah...
I've nearly broken out of saying "dude" completely. "WOO HOO!!" from the Simpsons is common, and we have a wierd inside-joke one on campus of "blank-ey blankerstons" - like it's a first and last name. For example, if you see a person smoking, you might ask: "What's up, Smokey Smokerstons?" although they usually come in a more original variety than that.
But my worst is "Oh, Baby!" pronounced "O, Bebe!!"
I'm sure that's far more than you ever wanted to know about Texas slang.

Around my friends, it's the signature remark.
Usually, I don't say it <bold>to</bold> someone, I just say it when i'm frustrated and most people think about it and have a laugh.
I was in a restaurant and it started raining. I was thinking about how to get home in the rain when FMD slipped out of my tongue and the next table, a group of very alpha males all turned their heads in my direction and stared.
Usually people take it pretty well seeing as I don't direct it at anyone.
