I've been out of touch with wrestling since the 80's and I never keep up with today's wrestling figures, so maybe someone here can help. Any figures out there close to Santo (or Blue Demon) in appearance? It doesn't have to be spot on, since I'm doing something of a deviation from Santo.

Don't really have any ideas for a base figure, but KILLER idea man!
TCm, it's part of a B Movie custom series theme I'm doing- the first one's almost complete, I think you'd dig it http://www.hostboard.com/forums/
I'd assume you could use just about any wrestling fig... Unless you'd want it to look really good [img]wink.gif[/img]

ive seen quite a few masked wrestling figs that would be dead-on for that. you'd just have to add the cape. any one of the Lucidors (sp?) would be perfect.
perfect, I didn't even know that they still had masked wrestlers these days. (Edit: Outside of Mexico that is) Either way some scupley over the head would do, but a masked fella would save time.

I checked and found something close to a luchador figure (Rey Mysterio), only he had long baggy pants. So I grabbed another guy and sculpted a mask on. I got the perfect cape for him, and now it's down to painting.
My plans:
There's 3 B-Movie style customs in all: 1 Santo style, 1 50's sci-fi, 1 50's horror. Even accessory figures thrown in with them. I'll post them all together as one big feature when everything's complete.
And tons more shit- even some customs that were left unfinished from close to two years now and are now done or almost done. Everything from LOTR, Micronauts, horror, weird crap, music related, etc. I'm rambling, but I'm eager to get this stuff on the boards!
