SC Fuel Mileage

I was wondering how much worse my fuel mileage will be if i get a JRSC when i'm not going all out? I read on one board where people even claimed to get better fuel mileage???

I get better gas mileage with the blower. I always had pretty good mpg, but it went up by as much as 5 more after the blower. I attribute this to either me not needing to beat on it as much as before to get it up to the usual speeds or the blower can help with creating better flow. who knows, I'm not complaining.

On my last tank of gas I got 244 miles out of 8.44 gallons. About 28.9 mpg. I'm not light with my car either...

My fuel economy went way down, but in reality
I attribute it to having my foot to the floor all the time. When driving like a human, my fuel economy has remained steady, with a small 1 MPG gain (on long trips).

On a long highway trip with some city driving mixed in, I managed a lofty 32.9 MPG!@! I generally get around 28 or 29 MPG city driving.

I usually get about 30 mpg with "spirited" driving...when driving hard I usually see about 27 mpg. The best mileage I've ever seen was on a 600 mile trip...38 mpg.

On my first few tankfuls of 92 or 93 octane, and , um, "spirited driving" I was getting an atrocious 18-19 MPG. But that was also with the AC on.

I shoulda had a V-8 ! <rim shot>

Its improved somewhat, now Im in the low 20's, about 23-24 MPG (240 miles on a 10 gallon fillup) Running some REGANE through may have helped.

I usually average about 25-26 mpg... however, my last tank rendered a whopping 28.41 mpg !!!

25-26 mpg, tank after tank.

On the rare occasion I do get on the highway for a longer trip, mileage goes up dramatically. I couldn't tell you exactly, since I'm usually driving to an event that lowers my milage!
