pork pies are pastry wrapped around (very suspect) bits of minced pork and aspic jelly - delicious *barf*
vol-au-vents are pastry cases filled with either prawns, muchrooms or chopped eggs. These are ALWAYS totally ignored and end up getting trodden into the carpet before being put into the garbage [img]wink.gif[/img]
