A post on the Spawn board alerted me to the fact that our good ol buddy "SuperGuy" is pimping the Custom that I just sold him a few weeks ago on ebay.... For TWICE what I sold it to him for.

A. It was mine
B. I sold it to that guy for $50
C. The way he has it posed, it shows off the biggest flaw in the Samurai line... those damned shoulder joints. Proper posing is a MUST
D. It kinda made me mad/cracked me up to see him try to get a $100 buy it now. I hope it sells for $7. [img]wink.gif[/img]

E. I think it's funny that everyone loved this figure when I made it years ago, but now the bar has been raised to a point that it pales by comparison. (I feel this way myself... that is why I sold it.)

but compared to other stuff you've done, well, it kinda is, like you said. and yeah, mostly due to the shoulders.

... at the time, it was a HUGE jumping forward point for me.
I feel the same way... I know I can build a better moustrap nowdays.
The only reason that I hesitated parting with it was for Nostalgic reasons.... it was my first huge custom remake. The guy finally convinced me when a Fifty showed up in the mail before we even had come to an agreement. The cash on my desk made me say.... "Um.. Okay."

I should say, it's better than I could do, as well. I can handle a paintbrush, but would have ZERO hope of adding articulation to a fig.
and that's the 1st time I've seen that, that I can recall.
