Absolutley excellent.
I'll sum it up bit by bit;

<ul type="square">[*]The Bands

FridayThe first band I saw was Dillinger Escape plan, they we're an excellent stage act, some crazy guitar riffs and jazz chords + a total nutter for a singer, he was a right muscle bag and ran into the croud, punched someone then spat on them and got his t-shirt torn off, fantastic.
I spent most of the first day on the main stage.... which I then regretted.
The next band was Hundred Reasons, seen them before... they we're ok. The singer is a bit of a twat though.
Then it was Puddle Of Mudd,or should I say Puddle of Porta-loo Poo; totally crap the songs we're poorly constucted and poorly played = rubbish.
NOFX however we're great, they played they're most well known songs and really got the crowd going, they talked a lot which I always think is good and we're a good show. They had a new song which wasn't very hard to learn the words "Idiot son of an asshole" for Mr.President.
Slipknot, predicable but fun to watch.... bloody idiots.
then..... And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead on the evening session stage. Really good to watch and a talented bunch; the guitarist was also the singer and played the drums, the drummer also played the guitar and was a singer, his songs we're faster more agressive. They we're the first band i really enjoyed and they threw half the drumkit into the crowd and smashed some stuff which is always good.
I also saw a bit of Biffy Clyro that day, they we're ok.

Saturday

Didn't see many bands this day, just Finch - who we're better than I expected and Weezer - who we're ace.

Sunday

Sunday was Concrete Jungle day [img]biggrin.gif[/img] Jesse James and Lightyear we're fun to watch and Lightyear even did some stuff with sticks.... on Lightyears last song they got all of Jesse James on stage and their road crew and did a big song.
Hot Rod Circuit we're really good, as we're The Anniversary... definatly buying some of their records soon.
So, I had been stood in the same spot for around 3 hours... right at the front in the middle... next to a big tent pole... getting squashed... then they came on..... THURSDAY THE best band I saw all weekend, when the singer came into the crowd (either on Paris in Flames or Cross out the eyes, i can't remeber) I sang down the microphone [img]biggrin.gif[/img] .... well, screamed. That was great.
Dashboard confessional came on and they we're also really good. The Reading / Leeds festival was the first time they had played in europe and they we're really chuffed that everyone knew the words to the songs... they all had big grins on their faces when we sang along. Then I decided to make a break for light, out of the tent... I pulled myself over the barrier and nearly fell over becasue my legs we're so numb....
I also saw Ash (When I was in the big bottle fight) that night... then went to guard my tent from flames...[*]The Bogs

I can't believe it, I tried so hard not to eat much before I went to limit the amount of poos I had to do.... and in 4 days.. I had 5 poos, 5! I got into the arena on the first day quite early... so the bogs hadn'r been used much, that was ok. The second one was a bit worse but again, not too bad.... my third poo was hell... the toilets smelt so bad i was nearly being sick at the same time... I won't go into details too much. The other two we're on the last day just after they had been cleaned for the last time.

I didn't know toiles could burn so much, it was a sight to be seen.

I can't be arsed to type much more... I've just had a bath after coming back and need to sleep for some time.[/list]

missed DEP and amen coz solids suck cock, bus driver got us lost and were late!
hundred reasons - saw 4 songs but were ok
puddle of mudd - i thought they were ok...bit drony but performed well...not being prude or swearin opposive, but the swearin between lines was shit bad and got too borin
nofx were class. (same reply as john)
incubus were very good...in my view. well worked and chose some great songs
slipknot - look at johns...but they were ok, nonetheless.....FOOKIN KIDS THO!
offspring were good but lacked passion

bouncing souls were quite good
the pit for less than jake was fuckin awesome, every song played the circle pit got bigger and bigger [img]biggrin.gif[/img] and when roger asked for it to go round the sound tower, it really did.. i couldnt help but laugh at those on the other side of it with their ice creams outside the icr cream van shittem themselves cos they thought they would get hurt... im not nasty, but that was something to laugh at.

i left JEW early to see Foo Fighters and they were ace

the camping was fun, because we camped in a golf course 30 metres up the hill from the box office [img]biggrin.gif[/img] and the golfers in the morning just asked us for our breakfast and who was playing, so i guess they didnt give a shit

the only other bands i saw other than those already mentioned was goldfinger and face to face, and face to face were great as were goldfinger... the rest of it has been summed up well though already, but i missed thursday cos i got my times mixed up :@

yeah they played on Friday night, but i didnt see em cos i was only there for Sundays music...

thursday played around 2pmish, i was in the venue at 11:10am... and i travelled my own way, so i cant have a go at em unfortunately

Yeah, fucking Greatest Hits show as well by all accounts, and i missed it. Ah well, at least i'm going to see them w/ Weezer tonight, oh wait. no i'm not off to that either.
