I saw Lynyrd Skynyrds - Freebird... which was FANTASTIC, but that was the only one my dad had taped for me.

When they first showed those compilations a few months back I literally couldn't believe Freebird, it was without a doubt the worst thing I've ever seen

Though I seem to recall the New York Dolls appearance was fucking great and the Patti Smith and Talking Heads ones were pretty good as well

Yeah, the talking heads Whistle Tests where the first time they had been on TV..

I think they had just been on a tour with Dire Straights.

Patti Smith hasn't got anything on Lynyrd Skynyrd.
