I was at the track last night post my dyno tunning session on tuesday. Oh boy what a difference the extra ponys felt like. Here goes!

OT question:
Is your Speed Pro a "Sequential fire" or "Bank-to-Bank" system ???

Jim.. I am useing the sequential system since the car is street driven. Bank to bank is suffecient for an all out drag car though. Harv is at this event. I got to meet and chat with him, great guy! I never realized how many people use speed pro. Almost all the really fast drag cars I have seen all use it.
On a side note, the above runs were made on 22x8x15 slicks.. I tried some 24.5" and my car just fell on it's face off the line. I guess I don't make quite enough torque down low. The mph did go up though, but the car just couldn't recover enough after the launch. I tried several times. I would launch at 6500 and the rpms would bottom out to 3200, which was totally out of my power band and almost no boost. I have a 2 step in the car and my god that thing is soooo neat. It litterally sounds like someone is shooting guns, looks really neat as fire balls exit my down pipe and wastegate when it's going off. It is really a site to see not to mention loud [img]biggrin.gif[/img] . Basically it allows me to build boost at a stand still. I am completely spooled up in .9 sec (I have it set to 7psi) once I am staged at the line. I just got it put in so I really haven't had to much time to play with it so I am not using it at the current event. I did try some preliminary launches with it this past wednesday and it is very promising to say the least. Scarred the crap out of me it was so violent leaving the hole.

you got to watch out how you setup your two step. if your open loop runs from let say 2000 to redline and your two-step is set at 6000 rpm, then when the two step is active, the 02 sensor is going to see a falsly rich condition and pull fuel. i believe my buddy spun a rod bearing like this. to do it right the ignition timing must be retarded on the cell where the two step is activating. i'm not sure how or what you're exactly supposed to do because i havent done it myself yet, but try and ask Viren on Honda-tech or call up Harv and see what they have to say. if you find out anything keep me posted too.
