Hmmm.. intresting... I don't know but seems like I am going to have to find out for myself. Soon!!! I am going to be running the crv crank and 8psi pulley too. Only difference is that my compression ratio will be a little bit lower. Only thing left on my car is the wiring.

Hmmm...sounds pretty legit I guess. He even said he'll be posting his timeslip and dyno numbers so I guess we'll see...

Ok Board Members...

Now wait just a cotton pickin minute..... Javin, Jim, and others do you guys really think he's making that kind of power with his gsr to acheive these times? I mean really, I call BS on this, and I will stick my neck out here. I have known this kit for 3 years and have seen "fairy tales" come and go but this takes the cake. And whats worse is the folks who shyly buy into this. I heard some time ago of a JG car with a sc put out over 300? to the wheels but this was with standalone engine mgt (Motec). Well thats my peace, his trap speeds and times match, but for what I have seen 99% of all other cars do, it smells fishy.
Does anyone remember a poster by the name of "Beaver?" he was a guy that supposedly had a 17psi gsr and was a dentist from MN? It turns out upon a IP search he was actually dialing in from Ft Worth Texas.
Now before you get to thinking about that last one when board members asked for proof, he refused to give it to us. And after getting harrassed on hostboard by myself and others he mysteriously "vanished".

Ok so lets see some proof.
Somebody prove me wrong oh and I personally knew of one guy that went from 8psi to 12psi on a 9.1 built motor and gained good torque numbers but gained gained like 5 peak hp. His numbers were something like 229@189. Some of the "new" folks on this board seem to think one can increase the boost till tommarow but neglect the fact that temps go way up and power increases go up only marginally. I have seen this with a 12psi car in IL, and TX.

I'll believe the guy, for now.

On April 28th, I'll be taking my GSR with a 4" (6psi) blower pulley and a CRV pulley (for total 10psi boost) to the track. I ran 13.9's last time I was there on street tires. This time, I'll only have an LSD and better clutch (stage 2) different besides the boost. Still on street tires.

I'm a decent driver and I'm hoping for a 13.4.

Hey guys I think you guys missed something major here...there is a guy here on this very discussion board that is running those times with almost that exact setup...SCHybrid...I witnessed him run a 12.7 at Moroso in west palm beach this past friday night...he is in the 11psi range with no nos and a stock bottom end...he was also running 20inch slicks with a full interior with friggin 17inch rims in the rear...one more thing was that SCHybrid was not burning out before these runs which made his 60fts a little higher than they should be...I really think SCHybrids car would do low 12's with 22x8inch slicks and a good burn out....so I definately beleive that this guy could run those times

Yes it is a Hybrid...I knew someone was going to say that!!...its a Civic EX Coupe to be exact...and it it is definately NOT on the light side at all(Sorry SCHybrid)...Im not sure if SCHybrid was running with the spare and jack in the car...but I would bet the car would weigh damn close to what a GSR weighs...trust me I know I own a Civic EX Coupe with a GSR motor also...so I think it would be a fair comparison
