What do you think of the new stuff?

I love it. More would be good, though. I can't wait until Emily comes out!

I love Samantha's bird watching outfit. Purple is SO pretty!

I'm glad I have the orginial blonde bitty twins coming, but after seeing the girls with thier hair down I might need a set of girls after Jess comes into the family. I love all the new BT outfits and I like how the AGT outfits actually look like stuff girls that age wear. A little modesty is a good thing. I like Kirsten and Samantha's coats, but they're a bit pricey. And I think Josefina should've gotten something more then a shawl.

Quite frankly, I'm not all that impressed.

I mean, I think AG could have done better. Seems like they were just recycling old bits and pieces to me. What's so hard about coming out with some AA bitty babies, or something? All they did was make the girl doll?s hair longer and let you mix and match the twins.

Jess does not need a scooter. If anything Jess needs some good archeology accessories or something.

Can?t Josefina use her rebozo instead of a whole new shawl for gathering herbs? Why does Samantha need more accessories just to watch birds? Here?s a better question, why does Samantha even *need* more? Shouldn?t Kirsten be too busy helping Mama whom is about to have a child, to even go to school and play recess? And, do the AGOT dolls really need and more girly dresses and new ballet outfits? The guitar has added a nice touch to the AGOT collection, though, I will hand AG that.

One of the only things I like about the new stuff is the books. Books are the very foundation of American Girl, IMO.

All in all I think AG is being cheap, either that or they are *GASP* uncreative.

I don't see a problem with AG giving Samantha more things. Just because she is the most popular is not any reason to hate her because of that. As for Kirsten's recess outfit, I assumed it was for after Britta was born. I agree that Josefina could have used more, but I like what we did get. I wish they were marketed as accessories rather than a new outfit, though, cuz that's obviously what they are. A little pricy for what it is, though. I agree about the AGT outfits. They're cute, and modest. Not too showy. [img]smile.gif[/img]

As for the BT's.... CUTE! I think it was new, too, that they made them more preschool age than toddler. Since they gave them new school outfits... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Actually, it?s not because she?s the most popular, it just seems like she?s usually the one who gets all of the new stuff. I think Addy or Kaya could use some new items way more than Samantha. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, I was never thrilled with Samantha until I got her for Christmas last year, and now I must say...she's SO gorgeous in person! I've forgiven her for always getting new stuff just because she looks so good in almost every outfit you put on her. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Seriously though, I'm just grateful they thought of Kirsten and Josefina this time around! Now maybe they'll see it pays to cater to the fans of the less popular characters too!

I can't wait to get some of the new BT clothing. I've already got the Puppy and Kitty suits picked out for Halloween! Last year I found out it takes a little pre-planning if you're going to dress your dolls up for Halloween, Christmas, etc. lol

I like some of the AGT stuff like the petals and plaid outfit, the guitar, the new backpack, the rhythmic gymnastics set, and the new cheerleading outfit. But the rest of it I don't care for at all. ok well the brunette girl bitty twins look cute.

The tunic outfit is very pretty. I don't have it though. [img]smile.gif[/img] Blue is a lovely color, and I'm glad AG made another outfit with jeans...they don't seem to have many of those. I've never seen an AG clog before, must look interesting. Post pics of your new ones, please? TIA.
