Just back from the parts store getting injector cleaner. I had Chevron Techron in my hand, but then I saw the Gumout Regain. Since it has been favorably reviewed here, I got two bottles. We'll see if it makes a difference.
I figure my car's a decent test for it. It's never gone richer than the 2nd green LED. No fuel additives (except for anti-freeze and octane booster) have ever been used. 51K miles, 10K SC, so carbon buildup is likely.
I'll use it for two tanks in a row and see if I get any richer WOT readings.
We shall see.

two green bars? what halmeter or autometer, either way looks like your washing out the cylinder, it'll be time to get the sleeves honed soon, you know that you dont need much more fuel after peak torque, go easy...back off the fuel a bitget a/f measured on the dyno keep 12.8max for peak enrichment

My air fuel meter read dead rich (3 lights rich) on my J&S AF meter. This is as far as the meter goes. That's about 11.0:1.

It's an Autometer. There are about 7 green LEDs. I only get 2 out of the stoich/yellow range.

Stock injectors. Walbro GSS-342 (HO), Cartech 20005 FPR. Max fuel pressure 94psi.
For all I know, my A/F could be just about perfect for power, but I would like to at least have the ability to make it richer if I want to (for safety while tuning other things, etc...). Obviously I'll be able to do this once I get bigger injectors, but now, no matter how high I crank the fuel pressure, I don't get any richer.

Damn Holden, 2 out? I have all four from the 5 o-clock position leading up to the 2 o-clock. What injectors are you using? What fuel pump? What FMU? and What pressures are you seeing? 2 lights out sounds too close for comfort. I would like to know how the regain stuff works though. Heard good stuff but nothing from "Our" board about it.

I had 4 greens on my autometer a/f and on the dyno it stopped reading my mixture after 10.0:1 at 4600 rpm and above. I backed off the fuel a bit and will make some more dyno passes to try and fine tune it.

Sounds like they're a little plugged... or your O2 sensor maybe just not be able to read it properly... what kinda milleage ?
Im running stock injectors with a FP riser... hits about 80psi and i richen up to the max....
-
Mileage is good: 26mpg
The O2 sensor seems to work properly.

well I got that gumout regain bottle from target (thanks who those who pointed it out to me). My gas milage has increased a little bit from 26 mpg to 27 mpg...As far as power increase/engine smoothness, I don't feel the difference..perhaps my engine is very clean to begin with (before regain, I use other injection cleaners like once a month).
