Vinnie with Faith Hill question

Does anyone know if Vinnie played with Faith at the Grammy's in 2001, performing 'Breathe'?

I don't think he did. However he did perform with Alejandro Sanz that year I believe.

Also, is he doing tracks for Sting's new album which is due out in Semptember?

Vinnie only performed with Faith this year due to he did most of the tracks on the new cd and did a Faith Hill special last year.
Not sure on wehter Vinnie is doing the Sting stuff, I have not heard anything.

Yes, Vinnie has recorded here in Italy, in the past November, most of the tracks of Sting's new cd. Manu Katche also played some tracks. Also, as you may know, Vinnie will not do any tour with Sting.

Robert, may I ask why Vinnie won't tour with Sting but will record with him? I haven't heard that before.

i think vinnie is too busy and too old to be touring with sting again.

Thanks, Shredder. Has Vinnie made his million? I think seven or eight years on Sting's retainer or twenty years of triple scale may have made it where Vinnie doesn't have to worry if he's using too many peak minutes on his cell phone.

Vinnie may be too busy; but too old? The Stones are propping up Charlie Watts for heavensakes. If that's the case it's a pretty weak excuse.

too old as in he's done the touring thing many times in his career. although another tour with sting would be nice to experience. wait that would mean no more potato gigs with abe and mike. nevermind.
